Yep, purchased my Panasonic 42 inch plasma TV in 2007 for $2,500 and it finally died in 2016. Weighed an absolute ton but had a better picture than any TV I've had since.

You think your 2007 720p plasma has better resolution than a 2020 or newer 4k 1440p tv? Think you need to take a trip down to your local lens crafters.

Recently donated my 65” plasma from 2009. It legitimately weighed 147 lbs.

The plasmas have been out fashion for awhile but honestly up until the current OLED nothing compared. I just phased out my Panasonic a year or two ago.
