I found this interesting and dug a little bit into PFAS "Per-and Poly-Fluoroalkyls", which are substances containing strong carbon-flourine (C-F) bonds, and as a result are difficult to break down.
It appears this particular issue is more widespread and found in food packaging, non-stick cooking pans, insulation of wires clothing, fabric treatments, adhesives, drinking water and often in takeout foods is NOT specific to a particular (KO) company. Rather than get mad at Coca Cola, individually, I wanted to see more fully what this was about and what can be done about this if these toxins are in your body.
According to some websites, eating healthy raw foods, good water purification systems, reducing take out foods (and cooking yourself), reducing non-stock cooking surfaces, probiotics for gut health, vitamin c, glutathione may help reduce PFAS in your environment and/or help to cleanse your body. In addition natural sweating through exercise or saunas may help.
according to this study:
microbes under anaerobic conditions can also break down ultra-strong carbon-flourine bonds.
which also leads back to exercise and sweating as being (obviously) healthy.
