That’s kinda the point. Most bucktown starter homes ($270k+) are tear downs due to condition and size. Which is driving a lot of new construction development in the area.

If your budget is $500k but want something bigger than 1,500 sq ft, you’ll have more options in LV.

I do find the walkability in LV to be somewhat overstated. I lived in LV for 10 years and rarely walked to places listed (pharmacy, grocery, mail services lol) other than coffee shops and CC. The restaurant scene overall is pretty underwhelming. Bucktown could use a coffee shop though.

Getting better all the time. Nothing earth shattering but some solid places have come along.
