I've been to the CWS a few times and college ball is fun to watch, but it simply doesn't compare to the big leagues from a talent standpoint. I don't have exact stats, but let's say 1/3 of big league players played some form of college ball, while the other 2/3's either went straight to the minors ...

No. You should study the history of ND. Ever since Knute Rockne, ND has wanted and willing to play the best. We think playing the best teams in the country make us better. We played Army and Michigan 80 years ago because they were the best. We put USC on the map and kept playing them as they go...
