The funny thing is that it matters less to us than the fact the state of Missouri calls Coke "pop" or some shite.
FWIW: I was born and raised in Missouri and have lived here 50 years and not once in my entire life have I ever called Coke pop or heard anyone close to me call it tha...
Back to the topic: Is two national championships correct?
I would say that 2 consensus national championships is correct. You say your interested in our history so I will give a little bit of it. And of course there was 1960 in football when Missouri was ranked number 1 and unde...
Don't think we need him but if somehow we landed him it would be an embarassment of riches
I agree about the embaraddment of riches part. While I think Mizzou will be fine with out him if they don't get him. I still like the idea of adding a 6' 10" 210 lb center whose strengths are...
Surely (I would think) the cannon ball has been checked out and disarmed, unless it's a solid slug, which is unlikely.
I would think they've done some checking and determined it wasn't dangerous otherwise I doubt they would have left it there this long. If you notice in the picture I p...
Has the cannon ball not been removed? I was wondering if it's still armed. I found an unexploded Civil War cannon ball when I was a kid that still had the fuse. They can still explode in some circumstances. Just wondering...
Everything I've ever heard or read about it sounds as thou...
The cannoball is actually lodged in one of the columns of the courthouse.
After I posted it I was thinking it was in the column but when I said front side I wasn't being specific I was just meaning some where on the front of the building. I lived in Bates City in Lafayette co...
Maybe they are seeing Franklin, Berkstresser, Mauk and now Hosick in line to be QB's and are thinking they might be better off getting playing time somewhere else. ...
WOAH! This is the first time I am seeing this guy. Are we really in the running for him, and when is he looking to sign? A 5-Star is still out there? Yall need to catch me up on this.
From what I can find on Pelle is that he was originally in the class of 2011 but didn't qualif...
Arch Clement was killed in Lexington (another great battlefield to visit) and is buried nearby. I had three ancestors who rode with Quantrill so this era has been an interest of mine for quite some time.
Speaking of Lexington there is still a cannon ball from back then still stuck ...
For you Mizzou people there is a great little bookshop in Liberty that specializzes in Bushwacker memorabilia, clothing (they wore special shirts that could hold lots of ammo) and books. Great place. It's right near the bank that the James boys robbed and across the street from the old jail. ...

re: Better uniforms-- Missouri or Arkansas?

I agree I think most of us wanted to stick with the Block M. But they are just uniforms so I don't see the big deal myself I just wanna see some football the SEC way!! ...
The Robinson Twins would be good to get as they plan on playing both football and basketball. Both being top 250 recruits in football and top 150 recruits in basketball makes them very valuable. From the article I read it looks like their top picks are Oregon, Washington and ND but it was just sp...
Interesting I wonder why they would do that considering our only official WR commit at this point is J'Mon Moore and he may be looking elsewhere...
They did pick up a transfer last year in Darius White who was a former 5* WR from Texas who I believe wont be able to play until next yea...
Hell some people think Clemson is gonna end up in the Big Clusterfrick, why would Daniel want to put himself in that situation
He did commit to Clemson today but I will say if the Clemson coach is wrong there may be a bunch of commits de-commit because he's evidently assuring them t...
