Agree with nearly everyone who seems to be for aTm joining but not Missouri. For Arkansas Columbia really isn't that far away, it would actually be as close as Ole Miss or any other SEC opponent for us. I just don't think they are a good fit....
Cost me $1250 for 2 tickets to the World Series this year. Considering how much cooler going to the BCSCG would be, it's worth it. Now, check out Super Bowl prices sometime. F that....
yeah but some of those stats were put up against bad competition.
True. I mean, we only played 6 ranked teams. I'm sure there are at least 4-5 teams in the country that played a tougher schedule. Go get somebody who's proven himself against the big dogs, like Andrew Luck or Ja...

If Mallett flops it will be because of injuries. People act like he's been an INT machine, but he hasn't. In 2 years at Arkansas he has thrown for 60 TDs to 18 picks in 25 games. He completed 67% of his passes this season. He did all this despite playing against some tough defenses in ...
Joe Adams is going to submit this paperwork as well and in a year with a significant pool of WR talent none of these guys should go pro. There likely won't be any football in 2011 anyway....
The guy was a consensus top 5 pick coming into the year. Yes, he'll get on a better team out of the break, but there is a big dropoff in money between the #22 drafted player and the #5.
Problem is the new CBA will have a rookie salary cap that will take care of that. Better get ou...
A lot of this is overcompensation about Petrino's contract after being told over and over he didn't want to stay at UA by fans of other SEC schools. Cause and effect. I do wish our fanbase would stop constantly starting threads about it, not to mention every minor recruit....
I am happy for R Kansas..but some of your fans make it really difficult to pull for you.
Some of our fans make it hard for me to pull for us. LSU's got it's quota as well, though....
Last week a source claimed there was a 7 year extension on the table with a $6 million mutual buyout (suggested by Petrino to demonstrate his commitment). Must be the same deal. Anybody in NWA needs to watch the KNWA 10 o'clock news coming up in 4 minutes.
Supposedly 7 year...

I actually like the balanced offense Petersen uses a lot more, it's more like Petrino's. That run-based spread is too dependent on the right guy at QB....
DJ Williams was very close to Nutt. DJ briefly thought about transferring to Ole Miss. It's a good thing he didn't as the TE is also known as "3rd tackle" in Nutt's offense and he couldn't have put up those stats. DJ didn't like Petrino much when he got to UA because Petrino cursed and was very d...

I really hope after his NFL career he ends up working with the athletic department in a role advising kids and acting as a mentor. He's really a very good speaker and outgoing and he'd be great in the broadcast booth as well, but I'd love to see him keeping kids on track. He also took his last f...
