2nd tie-breaker: Won-lost record of the two teams versus the No. 1 seed (and proceeding through the No. 14 seed, if necessary).

Mobile has always been an outlier in terms of geography to the state schools. AU has to battle SPUAT as well as LSU (which is actually closer to Mobile) and FSU. ...
