Saban couldn’t keep his teams hungry until 2012.
His 04 team was anything but hungry and his 2010 wasn’t hungry.

PM also straight up admitted to taking a year off after the title and it set us back one more. Also transfers existed back then just not as common....

Yea first time winning a title and it’s not easy defending it.
This isn’t the 90s where only like 25 teams cared about baseball.

I think Jay would admit this might be his worst year as a coach.
Seemed none of the moves worked and almost none of the guys we needed to step up did so and the ones that did step forward took too long.
Good news is our recruiting was strong, we can work the portal to fill gaps.

The fact we don’t have guys willing to stand in and take one for the team is a problem.
Last year we kept constant pressure on people by having guys on base with free passes and being hit.
This year we aren’t doing either as well as we have in the past.
