Clemson at home beat a similar South Carolina team at the end of last year 56-35. It was a 7-point game at halftime and a 14-point game in the 4th quarter. Chill. ...
fricking love it, congrats ladies! We will continue to criticize Murphy I’m sure, but he put Sides in the lead off spot and she came thru, and everyone said pull Fouts but he stuck with her for the final 6 outs. He pushed the right buttons. ...
The beauty of graduate programs is they normally take more than 1 year to complete.
Yes, but they often only have 1 year of eligibility. Even if they do have 2, who wants to sit a year and then compete with 3 other guys for the job?...
What kind of fanbase are we when we start scoffing at the idea of a contingency plan?
No one is scoffing at the idea of a contingency plan. We’re scoffing at the idea that our situation is different than anyone else’s, or that we don’t already have a plan B, or that we could possib...
Stats don't quiet people like him. He thinks our pitcher's arm is falling off when she's the least used #1 starter in the league....
Not sure “fizzle out” is the right way to describe it. Maybe if we were losing in regionals every year, or even supers. But Murphy has a great track record of getting to the CWS and winning at least a game or two there. Coming in 5th place in a 64 team tournament is pretty damn good. ...
As usual, Murphy has ridden her until the wheels fall off.
Fouts is 11th in the SEC in innings pitched.......
Hence why he's a "designer" or "rich man's" Mike Shula. Because he's a better version of the same thing. ...

Holy crap. 79 pitches is nothing. Throw him the first couple innings the next game. I'm sure someone has had some astronomically low game, but I wonder what our record for fewest pitches in a 9 inning outing is. ...
We also scheduled particularly bad G5 teams this year and last.
Fresno State won 11 games and won a division. Colorado State was good. Arkansas State was their typical 8 win selves. Louisiana won 7 games. It's not like we're playing 1-11 UTEP every game or something. ...
Oats just made back to back tournaments, beat the dog shite out of Arizona and Arizona State, and went 32-4. Why do you think he’s any worse than Buzz or Pearl?...
Dude its hard to get good players here. What did we give Avery four years? We cant afford to lose any of these guys honestly.
While I agree, this guy wiped the floor of a 5* team with a team way less talented than ours. I’m not expecting a huge run or anything in year 1, but he doe...
It seems like this search was built around saving money. UA is fine with losing in basketball as long as we aren't overpaying for it I guess.
This guy's team just went 32-4 and would have run us out of the gym this year......
This is what I don't get. Matta was a Twitter rumor...why are we made at that? Forbes has 1 NCAAT and just got ousted in the first round of the CBI by Green Bay...we want him over this? Oats is an awesome coach. I was there last year when they stomped Ayton and Arizona in the NCAA tournament and ...

Are you asking why it would be worse to be automatically disqualified from the tournament, pay fines, lose scholarships, and tarnish your reputation instead of hiring a quality coach the likes of Prohm, Kermit Davis, McMahon, etc? ...

We might have the toughest conference schedule in history, no joke or exaggeration. Road series at current #5, #6, #8, #9 and #18. Home against #1, #13, #14, #19, and #22. We miss the 3 worst teams in the league (aside from ourselves) in the schedule this year. ...
I’m not saying he’s perfect and can’t tweak things, but to call him a lucky idiot is beyond ridiculous. Never realized the hatred for the guy. Whew. ...
And I was responding to someone who called him an idiot. Winning 23 in a row (now 24) isn’t something an idiot does. Nor is it a lucky fluke. ...
Are you saying he lucked into 11 World Series trips? Or that winning 23 straight is luck?...
