Not the same situation, but I remember Bill Arnspager “retiring” in the locker room just after the last game, and LSU had just won it’s first SEC title in several years....

Woodard screwed up the firing of O. If you’re gonna fire the coach, FIRE the coach. He don’t get to coach anymore. A great AD would fire the coach Sunday morning after the last game and announce new coach Monday morning....

I've had season tickets for 25 years. Usually have to miss 1 or 2 games a year because of work or family obligations. For the last few years under Miles I couldn't give the tickets away, this year under Coach O, I had to miss the Missouri and Mississippi games and had no trouble selling the tickets....
