South Carolina head coach Shane Beamer spoke to reporters this week about his decision to dismiss freshman wideout Kelton Henderson from the program. Per On3:
quote:

“That was our decision,” Beamer said. “Think a lot of Kelton. Wish him well. But there’s an expectation level of how we’re going to do things in this program, inside this building and outside this building. And just a body of work that wasn’t what we wanted, as well. And care about him, want to help him in anyway. Told him I would call anybody for him. He’s a guy that has ability and will be pulling for him. But just won’t be here.”
The former three-star prospect from Lehigh Acres, Fla., dealt with a leg injury last season and only played in two games and did not record any stats.
