Being moved to WR is a promotion remember when Brian was hired to the staff they moved Ball from RB to WR. Most of your lower level schools that can't afford full staffs (1-AA, II, III, NAIA) spend the money to have a full time WR coach and a GA/volunteer coach RBs.

Ha... At UGA, RB coaches are like HCIW... At least in the 80s

Wisky confirmed Brown going to UGA. I guess in the end most of the people got what they wanted. Hopefully Brown will be able to keep up the same production McClendon has given us.

BMac has a potential Heisman RB and two others 5*s.... I'm sure he would give that up for a lateral move so he can coach the spot he played like 15 years ago so a guy who played RB can take his spot. Makes total sense.

Do you have anymore words of wisdom for us on coaching changes? Just curious.

Why move Bryan with the runningback success we've had lately?

This seems like a great move for B Mac. He already has the experience of being a run game coordinator, and now he's being named as the passing game Cordinator. This gives him all the experience he would need to be considered for an offensive Cordinator position.

Hopefully he won't jump ship too soon! Give us a couple good recruiting years with T Brown before making that next step!

As a former HS coach myself, the ability to teach effectively is directly related to the individuals intelligence level and more importantly, their ability to communicate what they are teaching. I have seen some of my best former players(skill wise) fail at coaching while I saw some of my former less physically skilled players become awesome coaches. I don't know Ward personally but he appears to be a very intelligent man who is a very good communicator. My instinct tells me that he would be an excellent WR coach if he chose that path. No certainties in predicting anyone's potential but I lean way more to the side of thinking he would be a good coach as opposed to the opposite.

Did you see his new title? Far from a lateral move.

It pretty much guarantees if CBS runs back to the NFL after a couple of years that BMac will be the OC

Sounds like he wants to get more into that kind of role.
