Agreed, but the irrational fear of the bad juju, incorrectly projected on the black jerseys is misappropriated. The '08 Blackout against Bama was a symptom of the dysfunction that marred the second half of CMR's time in Athens. Beginning with the Sugar Bowl failure to appear against West Virginia, there were multiple games per season where the team flat out wasn't prepared to compete. It just so happens that this particular bed shitting occurred in the black jerseys in 2008.
We saw it over and over again from 2006-2015,but folks want to hate on the '08 Blackout because it's easier to blame the black jerseys than admit that our beloved coach had a systematic failure to get the team ready for big games.
Besides, the whole "GameDay Curse" was more of the same superstitious nonsense. Mark Richt lost control of his team's respect before he ever lost control of anything else.

2 ways to get alt uniforms in every year and no one with bitch about "fake Juice" since it's on the schedule in advance.
#1 throwbacks on "letterman day" have a day where you honor all the Letterman and wear the uniform of a championship team be it National or SEC. This could be a big as a who!e new uniform or as small as white pants for some of Dooley's team.
