If I understand correctly, Hoover is only double elimination if you win your first game (for the bottom seeds, which we'd be). If we lose our opener in Hoover this year that will be the end of our SEC tourney.

Say we sweep Tennessee then lose our opener in Hoover. We'd be out of the SEC tourney and 29-28 with a high 20s RPI.

That's correct, but remember a sweep in SEC ball is nearly impossible. Also, we would be playing a bottom seed in the first round the seat tournament as well...

i don't think we've swept anyone all year so I'm not getting my hopes up this weekend. Last nights loss was pretty detrimental in that a win in the SEC tourney is almost mandatory in order for us to have a winning record to end the year... And that's IF we sweep Tennessee. One loss and we are all but done

Basically, we will need at least 2 wins in the SEC tournament at this point.

Pretty much which means you have to beat a Bama or Kentucky before facing one of the top 4 teams thereafter...

So, it's pretty much sweep Tennessee and lose the first game of the SEC tourney or win 2 games in Hoover.

Like I said, should have beat Charlotte.
