It's funny considering ppl argue against it being the biggest upset in history. I might be biases since I went to App but the ramifications of that game were greater than any other in history.

I know other games were big upsets but that game changed a university altogether and look at App almost a decade later. Second year in the Sun Belt and we are probably gonna win it and go to a very good bowl in our standards.

UGA football has been a big disappointment this year but it has been good to see my Alma Mater do so well!!! Go to hell Southern and Go Dawgs I hope we beat them by 30

Hell,

I honostly don't know bout this game.I watched GSU play WVU the 1st game of the season and they were destroyed.
The O-line had 4 new starters and were way over matched

They've obviously improved since then but haven't watched them since.

Dawgs should roll but just don't trust our offense.

Had the best rushing offense in country until they played App and we destroyed them and they were averaging 400 yrds on the ground per game we kept them to I think 120ish.

So if the Dawgs can stop the run well we should destroy them. They have no passing game.

14.5 is about right. The game will be two touchdowns or less.

If it stays or goes higher bet on GSU. They stand a fair chance of winning out right against this UGA team.

I think Stanford over USC in 2007 is the biggest upset in CFB history in terms of point spread (USC -41), but yeah that was completely unexpected and derailed Michigan's season before it started.

That's debatable. The domino effect from the 2007 WVU/Pitt game was staggering. That was the single biggest choke I've ever seen in college football. Pitt was awful. If WVU won that game, they would have absolutely annihilated Ohio State for the national title. With a national title to prepare for, RichRod doesn't take the Michigan job. He would probably still be at WVU and Harbaugh wouldn't be at Michigan right now. Les Miles may not still be at LSU. He wouldn't have a national title to fall back on when the fans/admin get upset with him.

If RichRod stayed at WVU and continued to build them into a power, would Brian Kelly and Butch Jones have ever won enough at Cincinnati to take the Notre Dame and Tennessee jobs? It's fun to speculate about shite like this.

I wouldn't be completely and utterly shocked if we somehow lost this one, but after seeing GSU play against App it's pretty obvious they aren't as good as their team last year, largely due to their weak O/D lines.

If we play horribly (multiple turnovers, bad special teams, etc.) it could get interesting just because that option churns out so much clock. However, I think the fact that the game is at 7 largely favors us and will contribute to a better atmosphere to help fire our guys up for senior night.

I wouldn't bet this game at all and I really don't think Vegas has a very good grasp of what's going to happen as well.

GSU would have to get an awful lot of help from us to be in this game especially with how well our defense is playing vs the run.

with as bad as we are I don't really feel "good" about this game, but this isn't the same southern team that was moving at will on alabama and beating florida. They lost 44-0 to a pretty good WVU team this season but other than that haven't really played anyone close to our caliber. I assume app state (total guess, i don't know) is hte next best team on their schedule and they lost that one by 3 touchdowns, only scoring 13 points.

They will likely move on us, but I don't think they're going to score a ton. And as woefully, dreadfully bad as our offense is, if we can't put points up on southern then we're worse than anyoen ever imagined.

The fact that the game is on at 7 PM makes me feel a lot better about it. I think we win our final 2 games comfortably (21+ against GSU, 10+ against GT). Combination of how well our defense has been playing plus the quality of opponent.

If we win by 2 TD's I will be happy as long as the defense looks good. This game is important because it helps prepare our defense for Tech's triple option attack.

I'm not sure but I know in the past a lot of GSU games got replayed on Fox Sports South so you may want to check that out.

No fricking way we lose this game. Our offense will just simply out-athelete them easily and our defense...our rock...our saving grace this season...is not going to falter against GaSouthern.

For Christ's sake...we ain't losing this game. Book it.

That line keeps inching lower. It was down to 14 two days ago and this morning it's at 13.5

Vegas doesn't care what happens but they have a good grasp of where to put the the line to draw even money on each side and pocket the juice. It's gone down to 13.5. Surprising thing to me is the over/under is 50.5 If the gamblers don't think we can score I wouldn't think they are looking for that many points scored.
