Interesting, I know our offense is bad but I was expecting at least a 21 point spread.

If we win by one point, I will accept it. Tech always worries me. If we only score one offensive touchdown against tech we will lose.

That's fricked up, right there. Bet the house on UGA....

I'd imagine this one will look somewhat like when we played them in 2012. Close early, a lot closer than we'd like. We out score them by seven or so in the third, tack on a couple field goals in the fourth and we win by twenty in a game that felt closer.

That is kinda low, even for us.

Wow that's pretty close. Losing to them would be unbearable.

It would be inexcusable. Lose to GT and you have to deal with it for a year. Lose to GSU and it never will end no matter what you do.
A loss to GSU would be cause for the entire staff to be fired, the AD office to be fired, all sports teams disbanded, all students expelled, and then we would need to burn the campus down to start anew.

Michigan eventually recovered from Appalachian State.

Exactly. Michigan will forever be the team that lost to App State.
It's different for a few reasons obviously. App State was FCS then, App State was likely a better team then than GSU is now, and Michigan was actually rated higher and was a better team than we are now.
No, my point is mainly that not only would it be inexcusable because we should never, ever lose to GSU but because they would literally never shut the frick up.

Oh I agree. Maybe we should stop putting them on our schedule. At least this is not one of their best teams but then again neither is ours.
If we do lose (I am not expecting that), I can hide out here in Texas. I do not have much to worry about until we play the aggies.

I was at that game and damn was it not the greatest college football game I will ever go to!!!
That is the game that made the University the 2nd hardest for admissions in the state it made our football and all other athletic programs so much better. The publicity of that game did things for App that no one would have ever imagined.

I'm convinced that Michigan could have won every game after that by 50 and Lloyd Carr still would have been fired for losing to Appalachian State

Michigan beat Florida that year in their bowl game in Tebows's Heisman season.

Y'all remember Jack State beating Ole Piss about 5 years ago?

Yea, my daughter was in the Michigan marching band at that game. I was happy they beat the gators.

Auburn should have lost to Jacksonville state this year.

I have to imagine that spread will move by the end of the week. If not then I need to find a bookie

Why don't you find a bookie now if you think its a sure winner?
