Awesome to get the youngins some PT and Harris and Crump look promising. Hate seeing Frazier go 3-12 and 0-5 from 3... hope he can find his groove before SEC play in Jan

Maten is a beast any word on Marquette if I'm not mistaken they get in the big dance quite often don't they?

Better name than game lately. They were consistently good under Tom Crean and Buzz Williams but haven't been good since Williams took the VT job.
Williams got them to the Elite Eight in 2013. Since then they've gone 17-15, 13-19, 20-13. Williams left after 2014.
They're 5-2 this year. Wins over Vandy, Western Carolina, Howard, IUPUI, and Houston Baptist. Losses to Michigan and Pitt.

They are currently higher than us on kenpom and I would guess in rpi as well. It would be a very nice win for us, and we need it since we currently have none. It won't be a bad loss either, but we have to put together some meaningful wins. I don't think they will be a tourney team come March, so it wouldn't exactly be a good loss either.

Definitely need to win the games we should. Even if just in name only, we need to beat Marquette and Texas OOC

Also, Marquette isn't a "should win" game for UGA this year either.

Texas is 4-3 and ranked 133 in RPI (whereas we're sitting at 52, both according to CBS).
Yes, we should be able to and need to beat them.
Even Marqutte who has an identical 5-2 record as us is sitting at an RPI of 155.

Texas has not been overly impressive early in the year but that game is a long ways out, could change a lot.
This game today is huge, Marquette is an impressive offensive team that is young and improving. Would be a big game for our resume. I'm definitely nervous as well.

Yep. Marquette's RPI is bad at the moment, but they do have a win against Vandy, who could be a bubble team come March, 8 games against Villanova, Butler, Creighton, and Xavier. Plus another ooc game against Wisconsin. Even if they are average in conference, they should still put up around 18 or so wins, and that will probably have their RPI somewhere around 60, and would be a pretty descent win for us.

Their is no excuse for playing Kessler and Kenny this early. Kessler is a walking three point play for the other team and Kenny is terrible. You have better players than those two. No excuse to keep them on the bench
