The first OSU one wasn't bad (the second one is BAD) and I personally don't have an issue with the LSU gold helmets, either.
I like UF's willingness to incorporate secondary logos, too.
And one can argue that black jerseys, black pants and red pants are variations of our unis, too. All have a place in our history and the red pants were during a pretty glorious part of it.

I HATE the white LSU helmets. I was raised a LSU fan. grew up wearing a little gold sweater with purple LSU letters on it. The whole schmere, and I absolutely HATE the white helmets. The ONLY color helmet they should wear are the Yellow ones. (Called gold, but come on. We all know they are yellow)

You did get the part that I am not a LSU fan at all now, right? I don't MIND LSU and sometimes I can even pull for them in their games, if it helps UGA. But I do not follow LSU at all. I know very little about them these days.

Why do we give a frick what any other school does with their unis?
I'm sure it was not changing their uniforms that directly led to their championships. It's a legitimate strategy.
Not suggesting we go Oregon and change every week, but thats just because I think we have some of the best uniforms in CFB. But doing something like black jerseys or black/red pants once or twice a year is fun.

I tend to agree with this sentiment. I've noticed that UGA fans (Particularly on this board) seem to worry about what other fan bases think of us...or what they do differently than us.

Bring back the black uniforms. Not wearing them because of something that happened in 2008 is so ridiculous to me. They look awesome.
