Is indicative of why Mark Richt is ineffective as a football coach and probably why he has been a backup all of his life. He is all about his system and is totally incapable of adjusting that system to fit the players he has available. Every coordinator he has hired and every assistant has been exactly the same. They needed their people to be effective. That is fine in the NFL where you can buy people....but at the college level you use what you have...you recruit players that fit but when they go elsewhere you still gotta play with the kids you do have. Steve Spurrier was great at taking advantage of what he had on hand....and also exploiting your weaknesses. Richt and company do not even make the effort....stick to what they know and with some luck you win a few.

I was disappointed we didn't run more option plays. I think we ran one or two and stuck with the Lambert playbook.
