Maybe....but that typically works with top level prospects. I don't think he is a top level prospect.

Top level prospects that a baseball team even THINKS they can pry away from football is going to draft him higher....much higher, then throw a ton of upfront money at him. The fact that they drafted him in the 33rd round says volumes. They either don't believe he is a top level prospect...or they don't think he can be talked out of playing football. They draft them anyway JUST IN CASE they are wrong. They take a flyer on him. They are just trying to round out rosters at that point.

Actually when I read it I took it literally...then when I reread it I got the joke. Thought it was pretty good!
