I agree, though I would really hate to see Godwin go the same route. If he can be as explosive and reliable as he appears, I think he'd be a good option on offense to keep all the pressure off Chubb and whoever the next QB will be.

I think Godwin is a WR all the way if that's the position he wants to play.
We are no longer hurting at DB (especially with the class we just brought in) and we need to start stocking up a deep and talented receiver corps.

Exactly. We're about to have one of the most talented young QBs to come up in years and I'd hate for him to get here and find the proverbial cupboard bare.

With the DB attrition we have seen in the past I won't say Godwin never plays DB but I sure as hell hope he stays a WR
