Yes?
So, every other year we crucify the coach when a bad team plays us close, but this year its a straight win or loss?
All the excuses you guys are coming up with makes us sound a lot like Tennessee.
"We are young!"
Brick by brick, I guess.

Look. I am not calling for Kirby Smart to be fired. On the contrary, I like him and think he will become an excellent Head Coach. You guys are getting excited because I criticize him.

Richt routinely got owned by this less talented team you are championing in his latter half here.

At this point I'm not sure what the frick you're talking about. We are a bad team right now and other bad teams have played us close. Shocker.

We are young. That is not an opinion.

I've explained my stance on our talent level to you a million times now.

I've said that Kirby Smart needs to get better.

I'm not sure what you want me to say.

Dude. We have been owned by Nicholls, Vanderbilt, and Missouri. In one year. is that routine enough?

We were not owned by any of those teams. Losing 35-7 when you have way better players, according to you, is getting owned. And really it should be 35-0 since those last points were scored late they don't count, again according to you.

2-1 against teams that owned us. That's pretty good

Crow. Chill. I don't want you to say anything. All I said was we should have beaten South Carolina by 21 or more points with the talent disparity. that's all. You are the one that is upset.

Look at the reaction whenever anybody...ANYBODY says anything critical. But if I say something and somebody jumps on it....yes, I will defend what I said.
I will explain why I said it. I rarely say something because it just pops in my head. I try to be able to back it up.

The point is that the cupboard at USC was pretty fricking bare. They are starting 9 true freshman and 19 total first time starters including a Center from Wake Forest and a TE from a minor league baseball team. They tried 3 QBs and a number of other players. They seem to be getting better each week. They have been creative in their approach. The players seem to be buying into the program.

They still are not very good, but the point is they are getting better. That's all I wanted to see from our staff. I was really hoping to see it after the two weeks off. It was more of the same but worse.

Seriously, USC was in bad shape talent wise.... they still probably are. They are building a foundation. We.... we are building excuses and pinning our hopes fully on hoping we get the right 4 and 5 stars whilst ignoring the fact that they need to be coached up too....

I just think complaining about a 14 point SEC road win in our current situation is a bit absurd. There are better examples for your argument.

I don't disagree but am not sure that our biggest issue (OL) is something that can improve this season because I think it's mostly a personnel issue. I think it's going to take a year at least to get that right. I know you disagree.

It is, except when you consider how bad those teams are. One is one step above High School (Nicholls) and the other (Missouri)is 2-6 with their wins coming against Eastern Michigan and Delaware State. (not goign to mention they have given up 35, 51, 40 and 42 points in their last 4 games.)

If we keep on trying to do the same shite it will take 4 years maybe if we are lucky and will neeed to recruit a 2 deep line with early round NFL players abound.

I don't think that's true. Get Gaillard (or whoever) ready as a bigger body at center, find a couple tackles and receivers to work with Eason, and I think it can work in a year or two.

That has been the goal with the Smart hire. It's definitely a risk. Richt was a good coach on the field. Smart isn't likely to be any better in that regard. Smart has serious potential off the field though.

Ok. Missouri and Nicholls.

We'll get there. It just caught me by surprise that we are taking such a huge step backwards, first. I expected a small step back, since, as you have pointed out, we aren't very good on the OL and are young.
And, I have said that I thought we showed improvement at Florida. There are times we have played well. (Tennessee and Florida) Those give me hope. Really strange the highs and lows this team has gone through.
If Smart could have figured out how to get them to play like we did against Florida and Tennessee,(And with a little luck against Tennessee) we could be 6-2.
(I would count Ole Miss and Florida as losses anyway)

I really hadn't thought about that from that standpoint, but you could be right. Smart is showing he is a better, more rounded recruiter than Richt...so far. With improved talent at key spots (OL, DL, WR) we could possibly turn a corner.

I'd love to watch these games and say to myself... "and imagine how much better we will be when he upgrades the talent."

You seek logic where none will be found. Some people MUST have the last word. It's not unlike a codependent relationship.

This is your mo and it is getting worse by the day. Say more and more ridiculous things and then tell people to chill, ask if they are always sensitive, and basically make it out like they are attacking you as a person when it just the outlandish things you say.
