Would certainly help our recruiting cause and arrest ratio. It's only a matter of time before it is decriminalized in many more states but sadly Georgia will be one of the last to do it. Just look at how long it took to sell alcohol on Sundays.

Just cuz it would be legal in the state doesn't mean CMR would allow it. Let's be serious here

Richt wouldn't allow it b/c the devil put the plant here, not god the almighty creator.

Pot has been proven to create links b/w two unrelated concepts, so its use in football can be to an advantage. Nay sayers will say it causes cancer or makes you stupider, yet they post sites that are either govt funded or christian oriented. Look at real evidence provided by real doctors and you will be surprised how beneficial pot is. Just from a physical standpoint in helping in the aches and pains from playing football and it is already a blessing and not a curse. Then throw in the fact that you can look at football with a different perspective, connecting different aspects together and seeing the field in a better perspective can and does give an advantage to the pot user.

Sobriety is like a robot, whereas smoking pot makes your more human (creative). Alchol makes you like an uncontrollable robot who focuses on 1 objective. Pot allows you to see that objective and the other 1000 other ways to attack that problem. So yes, marijuana is a PED but mentally unlike hgh (physcially). Being sober, you just see your list of instructions and do it as is, never questioning the why of it.

Can you imagine what could be accomplished if even just 5% of stoner logic were applied to solving legit issues, rather than merely spent rationalizing why they break the law?

Yep, back in the day my stoner friends and I solved the world's problems many times.

Can you imagine what could be accomplished if the stoners (and those lobbying for legalizing weed) would care more about real problems in the world rather than the ability to get high?

There are so many problems with our country, our politicians, our laws, our loss of liberties (real stuff, not just freedom to get high), our humanity, and yet everyone wants to make recreational drug use the next big thing.

Civilization is screwed. We'd rather get high and forget our problems than try to fix them.

I wonder if we could change the labels on the department categories, fill the Staples Center full of potheads, and then see if they could balance the budget?

"Okay, dudes, listen up - you have $2.4 trillion dollars to buy all these types of weed. There's the Department of Agriculture - They figure out how to grow the best varieties of weed. The Department of Education studies weed. The Department of Defense protects all of us from Al Qaeda taking our weed. The Dept. of Veterans Affairs makes sure that all of the righteous old dudes that defended our ability to smoke weed get to go to the doctor...."

"Here's the problem - We owe $17 trillion dollars to our dealer. How do we continue to make sure that each cabinet department has enough money to run properly with respect to their various weed responsibilities while saving enough money each year to pay off what we owe our dealer?"

Pot heads would most definitely balance the budget by offering a "peace pipe" instead of a cruise missile to our enemies. No more bullshite wars for corporations!

Just trying to find the best way possible to harness their "expanded consciousness." If you can relate it all to something that matters to them (e.g. getting high), then I figure there's something in it for them.

Gee. Count me as an idiot. I've never seen a cigarette smoker fall asleep and cause an accident because he was smoking a cigarette.

The National Institute on Drug Abuse notes that marijuana more than doubles a driver’s risk of being in an accident.

But what do I know. I am just an idiot, and why should we get in the way of your fun?

I wouldn't say your an idiot, just brainwashed is all. Its propaganda, and why do cigs have it now where if you dont puff the cig in a certain time it will go out on its own. Used to not be that way, i guess some cig smoker fell asleep or something and burned down the whole place. Yeah cigs are way better than pot. Have fun w/ your cancer, while thc cures it.

And where did they pull that stat of weed more than doubling your risk of accident?? Alcohol intoxicates your more so than weed ever will, unless you eat some brownies. I'm more intoxicated from 2 beers than 100$ worth of weed. Why dont you find some better places to get your weed facts. I would avoid any govt funded or christian websites b/c of their propaganda.

Cigarette smokers fall asleep and light their mattresses on fire all the time. Quite a few house fires have been caused by people falling asleep with a lit cigarette.

You are right about that though. Why should you get in the way of my fun?

So do a ton of prescription drugs, but I'll bet that you're ok with them...

Most people that smoke don't get behind a wheel and drive. When they do, they're not speeding like people under the influence of alcohol. They're far more likely to just stay home and raid the fridge.

No, I don't smoke anything and haven't in a few years.

Yes, but the cigarette did not cause this. Marijuana puts you in such a relaxed stat that people fall asleep...or at least makes them drowsy. NOT a good thing when you are driving. I assume you smoke pot? Then surely you know this to be a fact, NOT propaganda.

I don't like cigarettes any better than pot. But, just because, in your mind, pot is not as bad as cigarettes, does not mean pot is good. By the way. Are YOU smoking pot for it's healing effects? Used to be they gave heroin addicts methadone. Wow. Then they found out methadone could be just as addictive.

Is ABC government funded now?

Neither of these sources are from our government OR a Christian website. However, if you would trust an Australian sourse....how about the Queensland Center for Clinical Research? You can find their findings about halfway down this article.

And, I never said it worse than alcohol. Do you have any idea how many traffic deaths are attributed to alcohol? Alcohol figures in half of traffic deaths. I can give you links to those figures, too, if you need them. And they don't come from our government or Christian websites.

Just because your buddies say it is harmless and the government is lying doesn't make it true. Yes, the government DID lie about it back in the 70's. Can you show me where modern research has been faulty?
