I can still throw... I am out of eligibility, but the paper has yellowed... I'll do it as long as I don't have to run much, don't get drug tested, and y'all won't mind if I fall to the ground before one of these new breed of freaks athletes breaks my arse.

I am not worried. We passed on Newton and Watson and took alternatives.
I don't think talent evaluation has been out strong suit for the past few years.
Eason may be great but I suspect whoever Saban is recruiting at QB is just as good and maybe Kirby can bring him.

I'm on board with this. Even old and fat you'd probably be just as effective as what we got. The old part has hopefully has made you wiser....thus more effective?

People haven't considered....what if Eason wants to play for Richt and Richt only?
I mean, its like coach speak....I don't think its smart for the kid to come out and ever say that...now or in the past. If he says he wants to play for Richt only, then the fans are 1 foot out the door on him before he ever walks in to play QB, whereas if he says he's all about UGA then the UGA fans are all about him....until he's not.

Miami has a ton of negatives as mentioned above. Eason is visiting there in support of Richt but that's all, imo.
Eason also wants Georgia's sports management degree which few other schools offer.

Tony and Jacob seem to have pretty good heads on their shoulders which makes it reasonable that he would commit to a school and not a coach. There is absolutely no way you can tell if a coach will be there from one year to the next. I'm sure they've had coveraations about this. What if he commits to Miami and 1 year later an unforeseen event occurs that causes Richt to step down? He's stuck in Miami.

If anything this should show eason how quickly coaches can come and go from programs. UGA will always have a good reputation and a meaningful degree. Great 2016 class coming in. Kirby knows what he's doing. He'll bring in an offense that will let jacob flourish.
