I say yes, and the 3-4 goes with him.

With who? And what is wrong with the 3-4? IIRC, Bama and Stanford use it to great success...and a host of others, too. Please explain.

Yes on Grantham. I like the 3-4 though and really don't want to endure a wasted year transitioning to another scheme. The scheme itself isn't the problem. It works other places

Grantham should be canned (or encouraged to leave voluntarily), and get a coach that can work the 3-4 properly for college athletes.

There are a lot of pros to the 3-4 scheme, one of which is that it can improve recruiting since so many NFL teams use it. It can also be very effective at confusing the offense, but only if the players know what they are doing.

What we need to do is cut the playbook in half and give it to someone who can teach it to the players.

I think you have to give Grantham another year, as long as our defense continues to improve. I mean I just don't know how you expect someone to replace a whole defense with a bunch of unexperienced guys to come right in and dominate.

Look at what Grantham did with last years defense when he had the kind of talent that was developed, our defense looked pretty damn good.

However, with that said if an opportunity arises to get a guy who could come in and instantly upgrade our defense like say if Will Muschamp was fired then I say you go for it.

the playbook's so large, they probably never got to the part that says: "on 4th and long, bat the ball down"

Have 30+ scored on us almost every big game even with multiple early draft picks?
