what is there to gain in calling out your offensive coordinator before your biggest game of the year? or even suggesting youre not satisfied? that shite can be expected after the bowl game, but why make a distraction? you know the media would run with it.

Y'all all need to settle down. Didn't you hear CMR say today that he "loves his alma mater, The "U"" but that he just hasn't heard from them yet?

He'll be on South Beach by the end of January and you all can direct your bitching at the new staff.

No need to call out Schott but I would like for Richt to have said something to the tune of Dallas/HRD point of how they admit this year has been a disappointment and that they really have to improve.

It doesn't mean shite but at least they acknowledge that this year has been a dud.

Solid coachspeak, there. Practically every team that ever existed had "ups and downs".

It's goddamn Chutes and Ladders out there, boys!!!

He did say something along those lines when he acknowledged the "downs". It ain't our oc's fault the previous oc left no qb, a weak Wr corp, and that chubb is out.

True, but A perfect spot for accurate coach speak. Nothing productive is gonna come from our head coach straight up trashing our oc and/or players.

Again...solid coachspeak, tried and true. It's also more than a bit disingenuous, as is all coachspeak.

All teams have "downs".

Don't blame the oc for the qb failure. Blame the HC, the QB guru.

Bobo took over as the qb guru a long time ago, and his qbs never developed.

No one said he has to "trash" anyone. frick, he doesn't "have" to do anything. You are welcome to read my Richt "quote" and criticize what I think he should have said.

Speaking truths publicly in a considerate and constructive way is not a bad thing, unless your target's feelings are fragile like a young girl's and an overdose on over-the-counter sleeping aids is their security blanket of choice.

Yep. Aaron Murray was a total failure.

What does Murray have to do with a discussion about the current qb situation? Nothing.

I promise you, I'd take his inability to hit a receiver in stride over Lambert's inability to hit-water-if-he-fell-out-of-a-boat any day.

Means just as much as blaming this seasons QB failure on a former OC now 1500 miles away. The HC is to blame for every failed player.
