He won't announce the starter, depth chart just got released and reads Lamber OR Ramsey OR Eason. I don't think we'll know until Saturday.

Kirby just got asked about Ramsey. In his coachspeak response praising Ramsey's effort, he spoke of the other two QBs in this order....
"Jacob and Greyson blah blah blah...".
Jacob was first name that popped into his mind. Then Greyson. Ask a professional psychologist what this order means.

I still hope Eason gets the nod, but Lambert would be the safer option to start and ease in Eason.
It could also be that Eason has been getting the majority of the snaps with the 1s lately so he can get comfortable with them while Lambert was already there. Today could have been more of a "refresher" for Lambert. We'll see how the rest of the week goes.

After seeing UNC's rush D last year, I am guessing that we will want to run the ball as much as possible. We're just keep pounding Chubb, ROWK, and Holyfield until UNC has to put 9 in the box. That is when I want to see our QB go over the top with it to Davis and I think Eason has the ability to make those downfield throws more than Lambert... I hope the kid gets the nod on Saturday

It's amazing that the media spins like they do, 15 mins in practice last week and JE is the starter , they didn't see any of he rest but got everyone spinning.
I don't know who's gonna start , and of course I'd like to see what Eason will do. You know he's gonna play, so why does it matter if he starts?
I just want Chubb to be filthy and the defense to be animals and fire on the sideline.
It's Eason's team or it will be soon, so why is it that important.

Coaches know who is going to start, play and how often if it all. Wouldn't be surprised to see Kirby give an interview Friday night at the hotel saying he's going to call the kickoff coin flip (Eason - heads, Lambert - tails, Ramsey if it ends on the edge of the coin) on who starts.

I heard Eason has been working with the 1s running "catch up" plays, as is we were behind and trying to score quickly. Sounds like he is being prepped for an emergency backup role.

You start Eason and you box yourself in.....start Lambert and you have the flexibility to play Eason as much as you want based on how comfortable he is...or rotate him out if he's struggling. No pressure.
