Let me ask you a serious question.

If Mark Richt was the head coach of UGA today, do you think this team would have looked any different?

We would have probably lost too UNC, beaten Nicholas state, lost to Missouri, and we would have gotten blown out by ole miss.

If you want to blame this on a first year head coach that's in his first year, I won't stop you.

I personally believe this to be a direct result of the mismanagement of both lines that our previous head coach let happen.

I'll eat my crow after I give Smart the 3 years any coach deserves. But I'm not putting anything on his head in a season where most realistic fans expected a 8/9 win season.

Admittedly, math was never my best subject, but aren't all first year coaches in their first year?

The O line has 3 starters with 77 total starts. The WRs are poorly coached, run bad routes, and are not being held accountable for catching the football... And Smart didn't offer a kicker a scholarship in a year when the team needed a kicker...

interesting after Kirby Smart leaves having won nothing, to see if our fans shift to blaming him, or continue blaming Richt for the next coach's failures.

If he fails with his crap players, it will be his fault. You have proven you have no clue about football talent .

watched Tennessee fans blame Lane Kiffin for Derek Dooley's first two years, even when it was completely obvious he didn't know how to be a major college head coach.

And you proved my point with quickness

The coaches have had a BAD 4 game start.

Could have been a lot worse with richt, schottenheimer, and lambert.

3-1 with this team is a damn miracle...
If this shitty team wins 9-10 games... KS should be national coach of the year...

And now the 3rd grade insults begin. Folks that couldn't tolerate a positive word about Richt when he was winning 10 games a year, now can't bear the thought of Kirby being criticized for a total stinker. I guess you guys really thought Nicholls State was an anomaly, or maybe our talent really has sunk to lower FCS levels in a single offseason.

Man, man. This was Smart's 4th game, not his 15th year. We were beaten down by Bama last year AT HOME in a game very bit as lopsided as this one in what was something like Richt's 180th game. To anyone with a modicum of a discerning eye can tell our talent level is low. These players are by and large fashioned by Richt's hands.

We've had 2 SEC games both on the road and split. With this cast of Richt characters that is not too bad.

So give Smart a chance. If in this third or fourth year, we are getting the 2 to 3 beatdowns a year ala Richt, then we'll talk. But until that time, hold your water.

Was wdhalgren upset when we fired Richt?

Can't remember if he was a Richtbot or not, it I'm assuming by his posts he is.

The fact that "we don't do a single thing well or consistently" should tell you that it's a personnel issue.

Oh, and you're an idiot.
