Yeah, I just saw that. And I totally understand what you're saying. As far as I'm concerned, all we know is that three people are dead. I just think based on the father's statements, there are very valid questions and I'm sure the investigators are on that same page. It clearly appears that they are.

Interesting that he said they were all getting ready for bed and even "hoped they were asleep before they died" because one of the earlier articles mentioned a fire still having been going in the fireplace. And of course, now they've confirmed there is insurance involved and he seems in that article you posted to be very defensive concerning exactly how things happened.

Like I said, valid questions. Still a terrible tragedy.

It doesn't bode well for him that his account of the incident is off by a solid two hours. He also sounds very matter of fact that the fire started behind the sofa, and yet he went down to investigate what it might be.

Holes galore.

Is it strange to anyone else that his two daughters (9 and 12) still slept in the same bedroom as the parents. That's kind of weird.

According to Brent Patterson, both of his daughters slept in the same room with his wife and him, on mattresses on both sides of the bed.

I'm gonna go with "no" on it being SOP.

What's the name of that preachy lady with the news show that covers all the Natalie Holloway type stories that women are obsessed with?

That's what you people remind me of.

Boom. Thanks.

I don't know what it is about somewher deep inside the chemical equations of estrogen, but women (and some men now apparently) get really extremely addicted to this kind of stuff.
