Ugh, Lollipop ruined my S5. I am so disappointed with that "upgrade". What. A. Clusterfrick.

I got Lolipop on my T-Mo Note 4 about a month ago. Don't like each Chrome tab being in the "Open Apps" button, and I HATE the orange stock Messages banner. For obvious reasons.

Yeah the interface is a lot uglier than it used to be. It's stark white on my phone - it hurts my eyeballs. It's very iPhoney.
But those are the least of my worries - Wifi basically doesn't work on my phone anymore even after two factory resets. It's just slow and buggy. The numbers on the keypad turn into squares sometimes. Plus, someone will call me, the phone will ring, but there's no way to answer the call. It just stays on the homescreen. The whole lollipop thing is absolute hot garbage and I'm one year away from an upgrade so I'm pretty much hosed.
But I did change the chrome tabs back to the way they used to look. So I've got that going for me, which is nice.

How did you fix the Chrome tabs?

I had an iPhone 4 and upgraded to the 5S - and FINALLY got sick of apple's bullshite
The only way an iPhone is worth even half a shite is if you jailbreak the fricker. I mean, why the frick do I want a SLOW phone that is so damned restricted?
And ios "upgrades"? the only reason the "upgrade" the operating system is to override jailbreaks
Apple swears that jailbreaking hurts the phone, which is a lie...
So, i made the plunge and switched to the LG G2 - turned out to be an amazing phone. I liked it so much that I stuck with it and now have the G3 and will likely get the G4 (or G5 if it is available) on my next upgrade
LG phones are typically rated a little worse that the galaxy's here in the states, but are rated better in most European countries.
They are a little less expensive as well, definitely worth a look

OMG, thank you! I didn't even know that was an option. Apparently I had 41 open tabs since my last restart. I hated that function, and it was a lousy move on Google's part.

You can download Odin and the old firmware from Samsung and rollback if you don't like it. It's pretty simple but follow the directions or you'll end up with a paperweight.

I tried. As it turns out, I'm way too dumb for that kind of thing.
