Nope not yet. The defense isn't looking that great either. Not great against the pass anyway.

Just being a little sarcastic of course and I'm sure
the story will eventually be weaved into the broadcast,
But I don't how many times I read and heard about him being some type of walking commercial for UGA and potential recruits.Clearly, its no where near what some
had anticipated.

I was just thinking the same thing. Just another fantasy this board dreams up when things don't go our way. Kirby should be in Athens.

If they hold them scoreless for the half... that's pretty impressive, regardless of what kind of yardage they have.

No doubt but my point was that many were anticipating/hoping Kirby would get lots of
face time and air time in this broadcast.

CKS to UGA is old news, no reason for the announcers to talk about it in the middle of a playoff game. at people who thought he would be getting a lot of airtime.

Because being shown during the game and having the announcers talk about him the whole time is exactly what those people were talking about, right? Not the build up to the game, all the interviews, the media coverage before hand, etc. Those things couldn't have been what people were talking about, right?

It had to be during the broadcast of the game...nothing else.

And that fricking goose egg looks pretty goddamn sweet up there on the scoreboard, doesn't it?

I wonder if any recruits are looking at that fricking thing right now? Nah...couldn't be.

Think about it the other way- if he would have walked on his team during their playoff run it would have been negative recruiting hell for him at UGA. His defense looks great, that is all that matters.

People here specifically said that during the game the camera would be on him and the announcers would say "future UGA head coach" and the recruits would go crazy. There was some media coverage leading up to the game about him and UGA, mostly about him coming to our game Saturday, but him to UGA is really old news at this point so it wasn't talked about much. If people think that has any real impact on our recruiting, I think they're mistaken.

Not to some. Some asses around here are still hurting over St. Mark being sacrificed instead of sanctified.

Damn, that defense looks swell. I wonder how Richt's defense will do next year?

False. I actually don't give a shite.

Kirby is good enough at recruiting he could have spun it to make himself look good. Him staying with bama through the playoffs is certainly understandable and not necessarily a bad thing, but don't try to convince yourself it's better he hasn't been in Athens the last couple of weeks.

So...no recruits are looking at that fricking goose egg right now? Thanks for clarifying.

You are lost if you don't think that the recruits are eating this shite up right now. The more that D shines, the more Kirby shines, and the more the recruits will shine up to him.

This is a great night for recruiting.

Seeing bama dominate in prime time is definitely great for us with all the recruits we are battling with bama for, we definitely come on top tonight.

Absolutely...Good God,MULTIPLE post specifically talked about him being shown amd talked about ON THE SIDELINE.
And many used it as a justification for him staying at Bama for the playoffs
