would be a lift for recruiting

So how exactly is this a lift for an O-lineman who's deciding between Bama and us?And you keep saying this Bama performance is a lift for our recruiting...its a FAR
bigger "lift" for Bama's.Jesus, you're acting like somehow Kirby was solely responsible for this performance.

Yea,because coaches do NOTHING during the dead period in regards to recruiting. You do know that coaches are allowed to talk and communicate to recruits during this period, don't you?

How bout being in Athens and evaluating the underclassmen in person?

Honostly, you MIGHT have a slight point IF Kirby had been
focused on during this broadcast but he clearly wasn't.
Most of the praise was focused on Coker and Kiffen

Bama is already pulling in the #1 class, jackass. The lift for them will be about as small as MSU's score on that scoreboard.

God you hate Kirby, don't you jackass?

Kirby left that stadium with a goose egg on the scoreboard. Kiffen could have got a field goal and capped off the victory.

Absolutely, all of which can be done from an office in Tuscaloosa, jackass.

Kirby will be at the game, unlike Richt at UM. Jackass.

He was clearly mentioned several times and had the top headline on espn.com at one point, jackass.

I'll let the goose egg on the scoreboard speak to the recruits, jackass.

I did but in the early 2000s I went to a lot of AHS games and watched from the sidelines because I had mad street rep for a 6 year old

See that "0"?

The recruits know who is on the defensive side of the ball, don't you think? Maybe you don't think?

Anyway, time will tell. Don't be nut-hugging when the recruits are talking about that performance...

Lol. So you saw Pope and company up close. That place has changed a lot. Combining schools ruined a good thing. The town seems to be trending the same way. I actually live out by Jimmy.....time stands still out here.

I won't edit, but Scout has them at #3 and us at #14. 24/7 has them at #4 and us at #13. ESPN has them at #6 and us at #10. And Rivals has them at #9 and us at #20.

Perhaps they weren't "already" pulling in the #1 class, and perhaps they won't. BUT, we need all the exposure we can get. Even with Eason, this class is subpar as compared to years past when considering the rankings (which mean less when compared to filling needs).

So, my point remains: Kirby's postseason exploits (goose egg, baby) can only enhance our HNIC's image to recruits. Put some shine on dem boots, nickel...

I understand what you are saying....but every recruit out there knows he will be at UGA and watched the game. Sometimes his being there tells the story. They are aware. Just think what would have happened had he left Alabama and come to UGA and with him being gone they shut Michigan State out?

UGA fired him. You expect him to wear UGA gear, still? he is as dedicated to UGA as UGA was to him.

Actually, Alabama is #4. Ohio State, Michigan and LSU are ahead at the moment.

I am personally excited about what Kirby MIGHT bring to the table. It's time fro everybody to get behind the new coaches. Richt is gone and Smart is the HC. I wish all the Richt haters would leave him alone and let him leave in peace, and I wish all the Richt lovers (I am one of them) would get behind Smart and let's get excited about what the future holds for us. All the complaining about the past won't change anything, and all the complaining about the present won't, either.
