And based on how Stafford looked in the early games, I'm not surprised he didn't win the starting job with only fall camp under his belt.

Plugging in a true freshman QB is just not the same as other positions. The huge mistake in 06 with regards to a freshman was redshirting Knowshon.

Ramsey showed qualities other than his strong arm. Personally I thought his mechanics, footwork, and pocket presence were all pretty solid for where he's at in his career. Our growing pains at qb next year will be no different then they were when Murray was a freshman.

Thankfully next year's QB will have a significantly better run game and defense compared to 2010 to help them out too.

Ok, so far the total is this. I only included you IF you made it clear who you thought would start the season.

Bauta - 0
Park - 9
Ramsey - 19

It would appear that Ramsey has more arm talent, but still has a long way to go learning how to play within the scheme. Knowing when to throw.the ball away is as important or more so than being able to throw a 60-yard strike.

I think Park will have every opportunity to take the no.1 spot, if he doesn't that's all I need to know about him.

FB is a wildcard, I like his toughness, physically and mentally, but he will get the same knocks Mason got about the vertical game. He makes smart throws and can take a lickin.

With the running backs we have, I believe whoever can play and not commit turnovers will end up being the man.

I think the edge goes to Ramsey given the number of actual games he played in last season. That said it will be interesting to see if Bauta/Park makes a push.

I'm with you on that. He has the edge because he has more experience in the system as well as valuable game experience. We just haven't seen enough of Park to make a solid judgment yet.

Considering Richt started joe Cox for a year and Tereshinski over Stafford (Cox and Tereshinski were not D1 talent) I would say he will start Ramsey no matter what. He is loyal to the senior qb

If he starts Ramsey, it's because Ramsey gives us the best chance to win. If he starts Park or Bauta, it's for the same reason.

Mark Richt has faults. QB coaching and decision making is not one of them. Find something else to bitch about.

For all of Richts faults, the man knows his QBs. He'll put the right guy in.

I'll go with Ramsey because Park looks kinda rapey.
