Will be Ramsey. Should be Jeb Blazevich. At 6'5" 240lbs, Blazevich is the new prototype college championship QB.

So, what happens if Park wins the job in 2015 and then Eason comes along the following year? Does Eason beat him out or does he ride the bench until Park decides to go pro? Seems like we're gonna have some QB controversy and competition in the next few years.

He's a player, no doubt. He makes good decisions, throws it well and outside of the fumble he was clutch.

We haven't seen him on the big stage yet...so no one knows how he'll compete.

I don't understand this assessment. He hasn't taken a college snap. Which spotlight has he failed to cope with?

Common sense would say that his presence/ability would show itself in practice, which would either negate his playing time or actually give him some. There is a reason he hasn't played a snap...

isn't there an SEC rule that says any transfer must have two years eligibility remaining?

There are many articles that point out that the players and coaches were impressed with him. I have linked the first article that came up when I googled.

LINK

The reason he didn't play a snap was the preserve his redshirt as a true freshman. Speculating that it is because he folds under pressure is hilarious.

any history of this? I thought they put that rule in after Ole Miss got that Oregon kid.

Any after that? or was the rule there even before him?

I'll say Brice Ramsey.

Whoever starts next year will be much much worse than Hutson and we won't realize how good he was until then. Typical.

SC state championship game at Williams-Brice, Shrine Bowl, All-American game. All instances where Park practiced great leading up to the games, analysts were raving about him, and then he absolutely tanked when he got out on to the field. If he can't deal with the pressure in those games, he's not cut out to be an SEC QB. It's the reason the in-state schools passed on him. It's always been the knock on him. He simply isn't clutch.

I should go back and say this - yes, if Jacob Park hasn't made any progress since his senior year of high school, I don't want to see him. But to believe that to be the case is asinine.

Ramsey threw 3 INTs on 16 attempts in the All-American bowl. He played poorly in the bowl game this year and overall was very shaky in 2014. Is he more clutch than Park?

I'd agree with that. Like many HS quarterbacks, Parks mechanics left a lot to be desired. I imagine he's been working on that and he's getting good coaching. Without having any inside info on how he's doing since arriving at Georgia, he seems to have the potential to be a very good college QB.

I hope that I'm dead wrong but I believe that no matter who plays 2015 QB Dawg ranters will be wishing we had the solid Hutson Mason back for one more year.

Hutson Mason was the most accurate passer in Georgia football history and he was maligned by idiots.
