That's pretty ridiculous. Apparently there are plenty of super wealthy donors. I will be watching from the best seat in the house. Goooooo Dawgs!!

Done with my season tix at UGA...our home schedule sucks every other year.
Went ahead and paid the PSL ($2,500 ea) for 2 Falcons season tickets plus I get options
on SECCG,Chick-Fil-A ,Super Bowl,Playoffs etc.Pretty sure I can at least break
even reselling some of the options over the course of 5 to 10 years.Just flushing
money down the toilet with my Hartman Fund contribution.

Can always stub hub or get tickets to just about every UGA game I might want to
attend and I'll still go to Jax every year.

Thanks for the heads up Dallas. We get 4 but if I donate an extra $400 we get 6.

I'm doing the same thing. Not worth it anymore.

Made this decision after the '13 season. Haven't regretted it yet.

So...less than 1k UGA fans get to buy tickets to South Bend?

Seems like a ridiculously low number of tickets to make available to visiting fans.

Yea, something isnt adding up. It will be the largest allotment of tickets Notre Dame has ever given out to a visiting team....also, our buddy has 10 tickets available and right now I'm holding one of those spots ;) - he is apart of a group that donates together, but no way he has 75,000 points by himself...not even close

What do you think a ticket will cost on Stub hub?

I would guess ~$500ish would be okay seats. You could probably get into the game for $350.

Any other guesses?

Awesome... I'm in the top 100 in money paid to UGA... except I paid it directly instead of going through the Hartman Fund.

I also find it disturbing that we only have 100 people who have given $180k+ to hartman.

I thought we were ballers.

That doesn't include donations to specific projects (athletic academic center, facilities, indoor practice facility, BM building, etc). That also doesn't include "friends of the program" donations to recruits.

The big big boosters spread their donations throughout the school, entire athletic dept, project based donations, etc.

Robert Edwards, Hines Ward, Champ Bailey, Terrell Davis, and many others have given hundreds of thousands to things like our weight room, training table, locker rooms, and other facilities but that doesn't go through Hartman Fund

However, those guys, corporations, friend's of BoRs, AD friends, etc, all get tickets and that doesn't go through the ticketing office either.

Imma assuming your friend & his group have a Skysuite or access to someone who has one. Hartman points don't apply to those people...

I'm fricked. I didn't realize I was so irrelevant on the donor list. I'll cut my Hartman donation and I'll go to a 3rd party for tickets, not a big deal.

To each his own, I'm not telling you what to do, but I'm always curious when people have this mindset. This game here is going to be the toughest regular season ticket in UGA history, and is quite literally a once in a lifetime experience. The cutoff of course is going to be ridiculously high. But I don't see why people (not you specifically glory glory, just in general) see that and decide to throw their hands up and "quit".

I don't contribute because of one particular game, I contribute because although I'm young I'm thinking 10 or 30 years down the road when I have a family and grandkids and everyone wants to go to the game, and being a season ticket holder is IMO the most stress-free way to do that.
