And obviously that is about football

It's not about football, it's stupid shite you spew about how you feel and what you hope happens...No where in any of your dribble, have I ever seen you put any context behind your shite. Like in this thread. I even responded why your "football talk" was garbage, yet you don't back your "feelings" up at all....anywhere. You are an embarrassment, if you are in fact a UGA fan. I'm sorry they didn't play football at South Georgia Peanut Farm High School, but pick another team to follow please.

Honestly it's too schticky to be anything other than one of the following:

1) A fan of a rival school doing a pretty solid job of trolling... it's obnoxious, adds no value, and fails the most basic level of comprehension of the topic at hand... ultimately if this is what it is, kudos.

2) A former UGA graduate who suffered a catastrophic event that left them mentally devastated and regressed to a former child like state

3) A kid who may or may not be a fan of UGA and legitimately thinks that the comments they are making are "substantive" and is doing their best attempt to play grown up with no context...

4) Something else entirely that can't really be explained as anything other than someone/thing with a barely functioning human brain or a high functioning non-human brain... either through lack of application/effort or perhaps starting shy of a full deck to begin with.

Either way, it is best ignored/RA'd until such time as the admins see it fit to remove his ability to post vapid drivel that serves only to clog up the board.

Just hate when the same 2-3 yokels go back and forth, just ruins the quality of the board...

Anywho, I can only post the last game of App. State to get a refresher on them.

LINK

Just so you know they will spread the hell out of the field. The defenders have to set their individual edge/space and be physical.

I like that Toledo QB. I know that it was a highlight reel, but the db's for App St were not impressive.

I definitely see how we will be challenged to defend the whole field. Depth in the secondary will be key. We should be able to control the LOS. But discipline will be the question. Lots of motion, misdirection, and eye candy.

FWIW App State's starting RB graduated. Just so happens their backup rushed for 1400 yards. He is still on the team. Just wanted to clear that up.

GA's gonna maul AppSt.

If you look at AppSt's opponents in 2016, the majority had losing records. Three opponents with winning records--UT, UMiami, & Troy--beat AppSt. In regards to the overtime UT game, the Vols got caught at home looking ahead to VT. After going 8-5, GA's not looking ahead at anyone.

AppSt's offense is predicated on the run. I have faith in our D to shut that down, put them in 3rd and long, and pressure their QB into making mistakes, which he does. We'll win the field position battle.

On defense, they replace 5 starters. Our OL has a chip on its shoulder. AppSt will respect Chubb & Michel & Eason will pick them apart. Chubb will break 100 yrds rushing & Michel will break 100 yards rush/receive. We win TOP & grind their D into exhaustion.

We'll see Fromm all 4th quarter.

48-17

I definitely agree that this will be a good game to go all out. The last thing I want to see is conservative play calling.

I think we should absolutely win by 3+ TD's. But if we won by a score of 45-31, with that last score for them coming late, it would be that big of a deal.

The things I most want to see are
Aggressive play calling
Eason's accuracy
Chubb and co getting space and time from the o-line
WR's not dropping the ball
Defense blitzing and flying to the ball

Holy crap I'm so excited that THIS Saturday there will be football. Let's Go Dawgs, it's gameweek!!!!

Lamb could start in any conference in the country. Very Murray like in the way he approaches the game. He does not make a lot of mistakes. App Lost to Troy @ Troy on a last minute TD. App beat the breaks off of UTs OL the whole game, they should have won that game. Missed 2 FG and an Extra Point. Miami was a blowout was at that game. Biggest game ever in Boone and they were playing with a ton of emotion and not a lot of composure. Dawgs should win but don't expect App to roll over. It was a very close game a few years back until halftime when UGA D made some big plays.

Lamb's an ok QB. 16 TDs / 8 INTs vs weak Sunbelt teams isn't much to write home about. You can blame his noob WRs if you want. They won't be much better game 1 in Sanford. And any AppSt fan will tell you Lamb CAN'T throw deep = GA safeties cheat up.

AppSt graduated their best RB Cox and just replaced their Center. Remember, UT's run D last year was ranked nationally 104 or something like that & 12 in the SEC. GA ranked 36 nationally and 3 or 4 in the SEC. GA run D licking their chops, boy.

And show some respect to Coach Richt and his players. AppSt didn't lose to Miami bc of emotion, lol. Miami was bigger, faster, and executed their game plan ... with ease. Truth is that outside of the Sunbelt, AppSt is smoke & mirrors, still living off a game from a decade ago.

Welcome to Sanford stadium. Now playing: Silence of the Lamb.

The U was a much better team with a way better coach yes I agree. Cox was amazing till his injury after that he was pretty good. Lamb is a quality QB period.
The center was good but cost us multiple times for penalties because of stupid after the whistle hits. Will miss his intensity but I don't see us loosing a lot in the position.
Moore is a fantastic runner will end up being better than Cox. This is a better defensive team from last year but still see no chance of stopping CHUBB! I think 200 on the ground would be a good day for us and not having anyone injured.

There's nothing magical about 30 points, it's just a number that I think represents a good minimum. Honestly, it's a game I think we should win by more than that, given the NFL talent laden roster and massive football budget. Maybe we will, or maybe Smart will call off the dawgs really early and we win by a little less. But if that's the case, the first half should still be a blowout. I just don't think App State should stand a chance of making this a game, and it's time for Smart to win easy games the way he should. If he can't do it this weekend, my confidence continues to decline that he'll win the tough ones in the future.

Bump. Certainly not what any of us had drawn up in terms of how we got there but pretty much exactly what I called in terms of how the point spread would play out. Not sure we learned much about the team this week other than that we'll likely see a healthy dose of Fromm this season and that Ramsey should never throw another pass in red and black.
