Imagine if we got to play a team that lost to Pitt and Kentucky in our conference championship game?

That’s really where we are.

I think most of us know that the streak can’t go on forever. But throughout the season I was thinking “well let’s not let it be against these guys” for SC, FL, TN, MZ, OM and then Tech. Now, the same for Bama.

If we have to lose, don’t let it be Bama in the SECCG.

Next it will be the CFP and I can say the only team that will piss me off to lose to would be MI.

But frick that. We made it this far.

Time to win the whole, frickin, thing.

+2.35 yards per play differential is getting after it.

If that is true for those 3 games only, then I agree.

But it would also be a red flag to them that they have serious red zone issues and turnover issues.

That's just wrong minded, sir.

I didn't say it isnt' important, jsut that I've lost my passion to really follow it. Why follow a kid's recruitment from their junior year through signing only to see him transfer afer his freshamn year if he's unhappy with PT? Likewise who knows what kind of important pieces we'll get (Dom, rara, kendrick, etc) that come to us out of seemingly nowhere from other schools. It's just not worth my mental energy anymnre.

But to be sure, I still really enjoy signing top 2 classes every year lol. It beats not signing them.

I get Oregon would be a tough out, but you play who is in front of you. Cant worry how hard of an opponent they are.

I'm assuming that nobody in here works for the UGA football department, which means that we're just fans. Fans can look as far ahead as they want to with zero impact on the actual game.

frick Alabama. I want to know what UCLA will look like in 2026 when they come to Athens. Could be a tricky game. UCLA defense has been legit.

I think Oregon is better but UGA is built to stop their style of offense more than Alabama’s imo.

Dawgs would definitely benefit having Julian Humphrey back against Washington or Oregon. His speed and cover skills are crazy.

I love the games.
I love them.

But there is zero purpose to playing them in the college football national championship environment for the past 40+ years (as long as I've been aware).

You only get punished for losses. There is no reward for tough wins (other than the toughness and skill improvement of facing that challenge).

I, for one, will be absolutely IRATE if Michigan, who has had nothing but cupcakes all season outside of having to play a mediocre tOSU, AT HOME, ends up getting FSU in the semifinal. If that happens, has there ever been an easier path to a championship game in the CFP era? It'd be an absolute joke if UGA has to play the likes of Oregon while Michigan, at the 2 seed, gets weak arse FSU.

Personally, I think FSU is about to get the boot if UGA loses this weekend. When ESPN interviewed Boo after the reveal last night, he said like 3 times that FSU "is a different team" without Jordan Travis. In other words, they're judging FSU differently now that Travis is hurt.

I thought the committee screwed us last year at having to play OSU in the semifinal when TCU was clearly the inferior opponent.

Crazy to think this year same situation could unfold if FSU and Oregon win. We most likely get Oregon who is a tougher out than FSU.
