Most preseason publications list us with the #1 RB,OL,LB,ST in the SEC, and many of them put the 1st three as #1 in the nation by position group. The rest are QBs rated 6-9, WRs 7-10, DL 8-11 and DBs #3 in the league and 9-12 in the nation.
We will be fine, we have 2 games vs teams with equal talent Bama and Auburn. Avoid the head scratcher game and we are in Atlanta, get the QB to play well and the DL to gel and we win in Atlanta.

bama and au are both SEC games though...if we go 0-2 vs them it might not be enough for atlanta.

"What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response(statement) were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room(board) is now dumber for having listened(read) to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul."
Did you really just use Facebook, twitter, and other boards to make a rational summary that is all over the place and not very accurate at all? Or have you just trolled a shite ton of people including myself?

SCOUT ARTICLE FWIW
Interesting read.
"Nonetheless, what was going on was that none of Georgia’s quarterbacks, for one reason or another were playing well. Actually, they were playing “bad” according to one person, or “just don’t look good.”
Then something changed.
Maybe the light turned on for Brice Ramsey; maybe he just settled down, but he’s pushed out in front of the other two thanks to a “very good” week. He followed an “exceptional” day on Tuesday with the best performance at the scrimmage on Friday. Ramsey flew up the field with the No. 1 unit at times.
After the scrimmage insiders have hardened their position that Ramsey will start. More than one observer has said that it is “obvious” who the starter is now. According to several different folks, Ramsey really moved the ball well with the No. 1 unit. He connected with Terry Godwin (more on him later) and Malcolm Mitchell on a couple of plays that impressed observers.
But anyone being the “obvious” starter wasn’t the case at the start of camp. That could be a for a slew of reasons. Frankly, the quarterbacks just didn’t play well at the start of camp… yes, it was that simple. Also, QB competitions are not necessarily set up for guys to look good. They are rotating snaps with three different units (and taking snaps from three different centers).
One insider thought out loud when we were talking: “they are, at some point here soon, going to have to get this down to two guys taking the snaps - not three.”
In the case of these three Bulldogs, they are throwing what seems like a heavy amount of balls. 12 practices 11 days with three scholarship quarterbacks is a lot. That’s the heaviest throwing period they will have this calendar year. That occurred to me and started to concern me one day this week when Ramsey and Lambert were both getting different parts of their arms rubbed during a media-viewing part of a practice. I had visions of Aaron Murray and Joe Cox’s arm issues dancing in my head.
But after a two-a-days practice on Sunday, Monday became Georgia’s only off day of the week (weather). Ramsey seemed to take hold from that point according to several different folks. “Take hold” is not a way of me saying he has been told that he’s the starter. I have no knowledge of that. I don’t want there to be confusion on that front. That I (and what seems like an increasing majority of folks) believe he will be the starter doesn't mean he certainly will be, but it is a leading indicator of what’s going on. This isn’t just one person’s view. Some feel much stronger than others. It certainly doesn’t mean the competition is over; it is not. They are going to make the starter earn this thing. Keep in mind - whoever wins this starting job is likely going to be the starter for some time… not just one year.
Let’s keep in mind, too, that the only one of these three who has really been in a quarterback competition for a starting job is Lambert. To my knowledge Ramsey and Bauta didn’t have starting competitions at their high schools; they certainly have not at Georgia. So this is pretty much new to those two. And it is being conducted by a new coach… there are a lot of new moving parts.
But Ramsey, as expected as soon as Hutson Mason left, seems to be taking hold. If and when Georgia decides to tell one of the three that they have earned the starting spot is not known, but expected. Georgia may or may not announce publicly who the starter is before the season - that’s not clear at this time. However, I do expect that to be the case. My bet is that the public will know who the starting quarterback is heading into the season opener. "

Pleasantly surprised by the passing game? Based on what? No bash, just wondering how you came to your post? I say 8-4, 9-3.

Have you ever not auto-replied?

because of the above post...Godwin and Mitchell.....Brice trusts them as affirmed in the scrimmage and the aftermath by the reporters and pundits...and by what he himself (Brice) has said...when a qb has faith in his receivers, that is a game changer...I have been saying it for years now...and will not let up...give BR the #1 offense and he will do fine...he is our starter for the next two seasons imho...Eason will redshirt next year...as I believe it is in the best interest of the program going forward...I think Eason starts as a redshirt freshman though in 2017 and carries the job until he graduates from UGA....barring injury

Unless the QB can only throw to the receivers' feet...

If Eason is as advertised he will enter the draft after his jr year regardless of how much eligibility he has.

Is this a reference to that one singular play from the bowl game?

I think it would be a good idea to go all Texas Tech on Monroe in the opener and let Ramsey throw 40ish passes to get live game reps. Give Chubb 5-10 carries and let Michel and Marshall take over the run game from there. Chubb is a proven commodity and we'll need the other guys to step up at some point.

no...just practice balancing the O...that's what should happen...and get KM some reps to get that confidence back up

Sounds good. My worry is that just about every time Ramsey played (and, I know that wasn't a lot), he had that deer in the headlights look. More reps could help ease that issue. I hope you're right. I do have some concerns with the Center position, but again, maybe that will work out fine too.

The comments that Bama has had success with midiocre qbs is misleading. They have had some very good game managers that do just enough and don't blow the game. That's a lot easier to do when you can stop the run and get the opposing offense off the field. They had trouble with that against Ohio St and we saw what happened. Still, Saban has always had a much better defense than we do. Combine that with they have had success with great OL and rb's and they just haven't needed a great qb

for some reason this is what I am thinking of us this season...maybe I'm wrong though
