Oakleys that he gently nestles in his frosted tips when not in use.

Some key info from an apparent Bama insider on their 247 boards. Seems to be their version of Lowndes:

quote:

What I been hearing on the home front. Just a few things I heard as of yesterday. Wanted to share. I know it's been a while. Me and my wife had a little girl last August so I been living the daddy life. It's an amazing thing. Anyways..

* Kiffin is 110% gone after this season is over. No doubt. He has dug himself in a hole and no way out of it.

* Pruitt is a target for the DC position, But a big one also is Will Muschamp. Muschamp will be the prime target overall.

*Cochran looking to be on his way out as well but they will throw some dollar signs at him and try to convince him to stay. Right now it's 60/40 gone. Hope we keep him. Anyway just a few little things. I know I'll hear more in the coming weeks. I have missed the site. Roll tide guys!

nice info

Hope we don't battle Bama for boom's services as DC, if it comes to that.

Hate the son of a bitch but I could see us doing well with him. More proven than Helton, anyway.

Honestly, I don't care anymore about DC as long as it's Boom or Pruitt. Pruitt brings continuity and a prove product, Boom brings arguably as good of recruiting prowess and potentially Travis Robinson as DB coach.

Boom and Pruitt should be top priorities, but with each passing day it looks less likely that Pruitt will be retained. Fingers are still crossed though.

Unless they open McGarity's office door to find him dead, slumped over his desk with a revolver in his hand, I don't see any way of keeping Pruitt. I hate it, but I'm preparing myself for that reality. Sadly, the way he conducts himself in a program doesn't seem conducive to long term success. He seems to wear out his welcome pretty quickly. That said, if he's going anywhere, I hope it's Michigan, so I want him as far from Athens as he can get.

Boom is interviewing for USCjr HC tomorrow.

A guy on 247 who has been plugged into everything before it happens is saying Boom is HC at USCe only if they whiff on a couple others first. Makes sense - the guy bungled it pretty bad at Florida, and they were primed for a lot more success than South Carolina is currently.

So much fluidity though, with so many openings in the SEC alone.

reading the tea leaves over at Rivals it seems Boom's secret agent duties will no longer be needed soon.

Until the tea leaves spell out "Boom signs with UGA" letter for letter, I will not trust the tea leaves.

oh, I agree... fluid situation. there's like 3 guys over there that have been spot on with everything so far so those are the only ones I've passed information from. this particular one says he's known Kirby for 20 years.
