As for food…

Some show on TV (regular antenna TV) called "Rachael"

She is making shrimp n grits now

+ olive oil
+ bacon + bacon drippings
+ onion
+ bell pepper
+ celery (yuck)
+ scallions
+ garlic
+ cumin
+ butter
+ beer
+ cayenne sauce

EDIT : Her grits have milk but I like real sweet heavy cream like grandma did (we are talking Depression Era grits when cream was a real luxury)

Bacon + Beer + Shrimp + Grits = Hell yeah!
McRib = Hell NO!

CheeseGrits, Nobody on earth has ever ordered a McRib and actually thought they were going to get authentic bbq. You are literally the first person on earth to be confused by this.

You should try one whenever they come back though. If you dont like it, youre either a commie or a liar.

You know who else hates McRibs?

A: Radical islamic terrorists.

I read where one of the pieces of shite involved in the London attacks was a KFC employee. Im guessing because its all chicken, and he wouldnt have to touch any pork products. Cant help but wonder if hed been a McDonalds employee instead, and they brought the McRib back and he had to quit his job over ot and immigrate back to his cave in Syria......maybe it could have help prevent that whole tragedy somehow.

We need the McRib back now more than ever.

So this is the problem with you young whippersnappers

Do you remember when the McRib first came out?

If ever there were a precursor to Orwell's "1984" then the McRib was probably it.

JD,

The last BCS had a disturbing lack of line imagery.

What are they trying to tell us?

Line, line, everywhere a line
Blockin' out the scenery, breakin' my mind
Do this, don't do that, can't you see the line?

Note all the lines on the cover art for this LP

BCS ends with Kim joining Hamlin and his law firm. They simply kick Chuck to the curb and turn the M into a W. it fits the upward/downward trajectory we have seen in previous episodes and how lines can be manipulated easily into another letter or image.

I thought so at first too, but the LInes were there. It was a very busy episode because they touched every single main storyline all in one episode. Nachos, Mikes, Guses, Chucks, Howards, Kim's, Jimmys, and Sauls. Instead of just focusing on one or two maybe three tops, but the imagery was there. And with new angles.

This week they're reminding us that independent Lines can also create SHAPES.

-take TRIANGLE Grocery for instance

-Triangles, dude. There's a lot that symbolizes.
-the main one being Chuck, Jimmy, and The Parents as the three separate LINES that make up the main triangle. (the parents and their plight were focused on in the opening teaser this week, remember)
-two lines of a triangle are always greater than or equal to the third line. Always. And no matter what.

-we think of two of the Lines (Saul and Chucks storylines) in the linear trajectory world. And are suppose to. But, we also need to start thinking of the Goodman's as a whole in a TRIANGULAR FORMAT..as a shape created from lines...is what they're telling us.

-Notice how one line of the triangle is really sick, but feels fake pain this week. And the other side faked getting hurt, but feels real pain from it. The parents though (the third side of the triangle) felt everyone else's pain and in trying to help ease that pain brought pain on themselves. But was their's really pain? No. We see that, but Jimmy and Chuck don't. Because it's all revealing itself as an ISOSCOLESE triangle due to Chuck/Jimmies lines being equal.(although reversed)
-these writers are working in about five dimensions on this thing and its crazy

-there was some freaky shite going on int he frozen foods section too. I'll try to get to that later. Also as smart as the writers are there wrer some fricked up major bloopers this week. Unreal.

"The Frozen Foods Section"

-you've probably noticed that the exterior of Chuck's house is an obvious deliberate Line fest.
-but what's not super obvious at first is most of the lines have a radio wave kind of electrical current accent added to them.
-they look like electricity
-a clear reference to Chucks electricity allergy

-now this next part isn't super facemelting or anything just pointing out standard BCS line technique in the frozen foods section that relate directly to this...

-so, when Chuck asks the stocker girl where Soy Milk is (doesn't say 'thank you' either. fricking dick)
-he hangs a right by the McSnoot beer section into the frozen foods aisle.

-and when he does this

-his presence triggers the motion detectors on each freezer door in the aisle to illuminate vertically mounted fluorescent light bulbs
-so with Chuck in the middle cringing, vertical ELECTRICAL lines illuminate. in a delayed sequence. from the back of aisle to the front, and then we hear the buzzing electricity sound.
-go back and watch. its awesome.

-I mean it's one thing to get the Lines in there, but to figure out how to electrically charge them when Chuck's around. That's genius. Love this shite.

Bloopers

-Mike makes anonymous call to report finding a dead body
-tells police he was out looking for arrowheads with his metal detector on tribal land
-so, ice cold super smart leave-no-stone-unturned cleaner/fixer like the Wolf from Pulp FIction's alliby is that he was out looking for indian arrowheads which are made from stone/rocks/ceramics/etc with a device that detects metal??
-WTF dipshits? Mike's suppose to be smart.

-Blooper #2
-When Nacho punctures the coil on the A/C, you can see his breath as he breathes
-he's breaking the A/C so when it's a sweltering 110 degrees inside the next day, Hector will take off his coat, but it cold enough to see your breath?
-must have filmed that shite in winter.
-Sloppy.

I thought the Mike comment was just being smartassed to the cops, knowing he is protected by good samaritan law... he is a career cop.

I'll have to rewatch the AC scene... maybe the escaping freon cooled the air in the room, or shitty leaky air ducting at the unit which would make it freezing next to the unit... just like in my house in the corner of the basement... all the ducts coming out of the unit are leaky and it's freezing cold next to it.

Triangle

This merits a link to the song from one of our favorite musicians and I actually got to play it one time in front of a group of people in a parking lot outside of a building that had been evacuated because some hoodlum pulled a false fire alarm. Of course, I was going to take the guitar, my most prized possession in the building at that time, with me in case the place was really going to burn down.

This particular AC unit that Nacho was puncturing was up on the roof though out of doors. And you could see his breath prior to him even puncturing the evaporator coil. Not a big deal. Just thought it was funny. It's 25 degrees farenheit and we're pretending to murder a cartel boss by using the stifling desert heat.

-also, I like how they told the story of how he's going to do it with the images.
-I assumed he was going to poison him
-but it's just ibuprofen
-Nacho is just going to (try to) let Hector's own heart kill Hector.
-sidenote: I don't know about you, but I was rooting for Nacho not to frick up. And pull it off.
-that's the genius of this show.
-Nacho is a piece of shite, drug-dealing, murdering, thug, who has endangered his entire family through his pathetic greed and involvement with cartels.......yet here we are sympathizing with and rooting for this cockaroach.

I get that he had to say something about a metal detector to explain all the small holes dug up, etc. But looking for non-metallic arrowheads with a metal-detector is either a joke that I'm not getting or a or a nerd gaffe from the writers. Also, was Mike with a metal-detector also a joke? Old-man-with-the-metal-detector??? Looked to me like they went the extra mile to make him look super cool in all black cool guy outfit to distract from the reality that.......here's another cliche of an old fart with a metal-detector. Was weird. Didn't like alot of this episode honestly.

There's a lawyer character in Better Call Saul that plays guitar too. Far out.

What kind of guitar do you play?

Currently, I have a vintage 1985 Guild D25 with the spruce top and curved mahogany back and that's the one I played that song on many years ago. I also have an Ovation Elite black textured amplified acoustic guitar.

On the electric side I have a sunburst Fender Stratocaster with modifications including Texas special strat pickups.
