Is the vet featured in BB? Or is he a BCS original?

BCS original.

There's more to it, and I think there's a purposeful parallel with a BB character, but you watch the show backwards, so I'm not allowed to talk about it.

I would bet this character gets developed a lot more though.

You may be on to something here with this lines observation. Remember the Wang Chung Everybody Wang Chung Tonight video? If you look closely you can see horizontal lines in the background.

Allegedly it was banned for fear that watching it could produce epileptic seizures. LINK

Jefferson,

Do you watch any of the KFC / YUM ads?

Are they imbued with lines as well?

I think the picture with the lantern on top of the newspaper will cause Chuck to look at it recognize the date. Put the two together that date was the same day he had the door fixed thus leading Chuck to start investigating Mike where Gus will step in destroying Chuck for good. Either death or whatever and that explains why Jimmy/Saul is so afraid of Gus.

Grits was a Navy guy and I worked with him in the early H4H days. Liked and respected him very much as one of the most genuine presidents I ever met in my lifetime.

Mondale just never did it for me even tho I like Hubert pretty well. Always felt bad he did not make the peak.

Tits and Fritz, now that was a slogan except they never used it to their advantage and showed hers off. If the republicans throw that kind of punch you need to roll with it and make it an advantage.

Think about where Jimmie McGill is right now. He looked like a tormented grieving kid that was about to have to shoot his favorite dog in the head to put him out of his misery last episode. Which is about as far from Saul Goodman as it gets.

I still dont see how theyre going to pull this whole transition off. I mean, you 100% know that they will and that it will be awesome, but I think things are about to get real bad.

At first, i hated Jimmy and wanted them to get to Saul. But now I think we're going to end up missing Jimmy..... and its going to be painful to watch what he has to become. And all the stripes that will be involved.

Are there really any winners in a Gimp Off?

Or do you just have a least loser?

As the board said repeatedly, it isn't Chuck's competency that is on trial. It is Jimmy's breaking and entering, assault, and destruction of property. All of which he is guilty of.

Jimmy certainly exposed Chuck to a whole mess of problems, probably ending him, but he didn't necessarily get himself out of the mess he was in.

ETA- last words on the tape "But you feel better, right? I'm gonna go call Howard and tell him you aren't quitting, retiring, whatever..." this may be his saving grace with the board.

*****ALERT! ALERT!*****BCS AND GIMP OFF SPOILERS BELOW***

Well, we know that Saul is a lawyer in the future though right? So, we know how this trial thing works out for him. I guess he could still get disbarred, but even if so, we know he gets re-barred somehow somewhere down the line, so I'm not even really focusing on that.

For me, I think the whole trial thing here isn't about law careers. It's only about the two brothers. This is the crossroads where what's left of their family ends.

Remember after Jimmy confessed inside the space blanket emporium inside CHuckis house? They had a big knock down drag out fight, but afterwards Jimmy thinks it's just another spat and he starts reminiscing about some book called "Mabel" and how their mom used to read it to them. And it's back to normal all the sudden.

But Chuck couldn't let it go. BUt now Jimmy has a future. A career and a business with the love of his life. Chuck is standing in the way of that, so Chuck just got Perry Mason'd upside his face.......while being exposed as batshit insanse crazy in front of his ex-wife who he still loves and is some kind of chello player on a world tour. Their family just ended. Jimmy knew that was what was at stake and that's why he was acting like the kid that has to shoot his dog to put him out of his misery after it got bit in the face by a timber rattler.

And soon, Chuck will die in a lantern-caused newspaper fire and Jimmy will blame himself. Which causes him to become a shady and sleazy lawyer that advertises on the back of matchbooks. Seriously, I have no idea how they're going to bridge to that shite. This is great.

BCS SPOILERS*****ALERT ALERT

Check out the preview of next week's episode.... LINK.......

-I wanted to watch it again to look for something else, but I noticed something I wasn't looking for
-the last two words are "Saul Goodman" as stated earlier
-but who is saying them???
-it sounds like Kim Wexler's voice to me. Do you concur?

-also, the chello player says to someone "You got what you wanted. But, now it's time to do what's right?"
-the tease is to leave us wonder if she's talking to Jimmy or Chuch, I guess.

-my new theory is Jimmy will not be disbarred so Chuck will go rogue renegade to try and get him disbarred some other underhanded dirty way.
-but he'll end up taking Kim down in the crossfire
-and she gets disbarred instead
-then at minute 52 of season 3 episode 10, Jimmy gets drunk and confronts Chuck at his house about it all.
-it gets ugly
-while leaving, jimmy accidentally knocks a lantern over on some newspapers when slamming the door on the way out unknowingly.
-fade to black, roll credits, while we hear Chuck scream and cough over the crackling of flames
-and we have to wait until season 4 to see what happens next, while they think up ways to make this turn Jimmy into Saul
