Let the downvotes roll in.
I'm sick of neoconservative scum like Handel masquerading like they give a frick about decreasing the size of the federal government. Jon Ossoff is an arrogant prick whom I would like to kick in the genitals. However, I can't wait to see the look on Handel's marbleized, porcine face when she loses. Our country is doomed if Handel represents what being conservative is.

Old people pushed her over the hump ... most conservatives under the age of 60 don't like her. Its the demographics of the district. Young liberals vs old conservatives = this runoff.

My vote is for Marty Huggins

In American politics, "conservative" has just meant "better-managed socialism" for a few decades.

All of you have fricked up perspective on government.
Handel will end up winning and rightfully so based on who she will "represent"

Exactly.
- Old farts.
- People who resent taxation.
- People who moved to North Fulton to get away from black people.
That's her constituency.

So...you're ok with an inexperienced, liberal kid representing the 6th district when he doesn't live there? Ok with him telling lies about a fricking Lexus, air travel, planned parenthood? You're ok with that? A fricking film maker??? Damn...

Not sure why you think this. Guessing, I am thinking. I am not in the 6th District, but I wouldn't move anywhere to get away "from black people". Bad assumption, I think.

Lots of people did. "White flight" to the northern suburbs got going full steam in the 80's and 90s. Lots of families weren't crazy about the increasing diversity in Dekalb and intown areas of Fulton. It was usually discussed politely as wanting to find better schools.
Of course, it wasn't a racial issue for everyone. Some people just got sick of supporting the corruption in Dekalb and Atlanta city governments.

This wasn't directed to me but the thing about him not living there is silly to most people who actually live in the district. He grew up in the Northlake area and spent his whole life there or nearby. Just because he's living a few miles away at present due to his significant other should be the least of anyone's concern. It's not like he's some kind of out-of-state carpet bagger.
Criticize the guy for his political views or ideas, but the "he doesn't live there" notion is weak.
The experience issue is also debatable. As noted above, Paul Ryan was 28 and had no more education or experience than Offoff when elected to Congress. Plenty of people have been elected young. I would rather have someone smart who has some upside.
Handel is 55 so what you see is what you get...a community college graduate and not the brightest bulb in the pack. By the way...Handel was raised and went to college (er...community college) in Maryland.
To repeat what I said previously....I just can't believe that these were the best two candidates. The 6th has plenty of super smart, successful doctors, lawyers, executives, business owners..maybe politics is so distasteful now that most people want no part???

I heard that Chicken created an ATL board.

Most smart people have absolutely no interest in going into politics ... for many obvious reasons.

Ossof was a douchebag Democratic plant.

Are you related to sneaky waffle? Brothers? Cousins? Father/son?

I don't know that pig.

Handel and Ossof are geniuses compared to the district that Ossof grew up in.
When Hank Johnson is defeating the incumbent Cynthia McKinney, let's just acknowledge that political money doesn't follow free thinkers... but the dumb, ignorant lemmings.

What are you trying to say here? Didn't Osoff grow up in the 6th District?
