Good luck with being extended bottom feeders for the next 3 years at least.
Well, given that our head guy can't win with good players or bad players (which, despite being a recruiting genius, he seems to end up with a lot of lately), what difference does it make? He'll 9-3 it in the same old way and leave more talent underutilized.

Make the right hire, and The class will be fine.

Not a damn one of you would be mindblown if Eason winds up with Harbaugh.hes had a Hardaun for eason since he got to michigan. That said. if it happens, ill weep like a young boy that just walked in on his dad fisting the UPS guy

Worst case scenario: Richt and Shotty stay. Eason gets uncomfortable with Richt's shaky situation and decides to dump UGA for Florida or Alabama. Pruitt meanwhile gets recruited to a head coaching position and takes a bunch of stellar defensive commitments.
If that nightmare scenario were to play out...a bit like Marshall trying to start over after the crash.

"That's a negative," Tony Eason said. "Who is ChatSports? (Jacob) never said that. He hasn't talked to anybody about that. He knows those coaches all from recruiting, you know. Jake hasn't talked to any of those guys. That's not the case at all."

Don't worry, with all of the open jobs right now, there will be plenty calls coming for one of those defensive coordinator positions. Don't think he won't be listening.

Also Big Ben Cleveland said that he and Eason are actively recruiting the right guys to turn the program around...I don't see him running away from that commitment.

I am convinced that Eason, Cleveland and Woerner will sign with Georgia no matter what happens. If Georgia can land a good OC the future will be OK.

Just want Nauta in the fold, too.

When Eason gets on campus do you expect him to be the starter from day 1?
Posted on 11/3/15 at 10:55 pm to SamuelClemens
I'd start him from the get-go. We'll be rebuilding our O-line, Chubb will be a question mark, and we'll have no receiver corp next year with MM gone; I foresee continued struggles on offense next year. If he turns out to be the godsend he's been made out to be, those snaps will be invaluable in 2017 and 18 when they get some experience around him, though I could see him getting the redshirt depending on who we end up starting on offense.
Personally, as long as he doesn't wind up at UF I don't really care where he goes. I'm not sold on him yet and we're notorious for doing very little with a whole lot of talent.

I just moved to Auburn Hills. I hope you like the color gray.

Why is everyone making a big deal about this? His dad shot down every point, the kid has never wavered. What was said was actually very encouraging to me as a Georgia fan.

No matter what is said it seems that everything is up in the air right now and no one can be sure how it shakes out. I'm afraid that positive outcomes will depend on offensive coaching performance against Auburn and Tech.

Starter? No; you're thinking too small. He's already been designated Messiah-in-waiting.

This is the writers bio, how convenient.

AJC Dawgnation has an article up with comments directly from Tony Eason stating that his son just has a Plan B but loves UGA and Richt and if Richt was let-go or retired they would see if the new coach/OC ran a pro-style Offense. He says Jacob isnt a running QB so if the new coach runs a Georgia Tech style Offense then he wants a Plan B. So that's encouraging...

Seems that I said the same thing just the other day. Maybe the wheels are really getting ready to fall off. Welcome to the new TN where such ardent fans could possibly be getting their wish!!
