Everyone always says this, but that TD would have only tied that game and I have absolutely no confidence that our defense would have made a stop in overtime considering how that second half went.

I don't know. I mean, we seemed to always pull out stuff against Tennessee in the past. 2014 who would have thought it would've ended like it did? A play like that could have had a devastating effect on Tennessee.

Of course, it is only speculation. I can guess. You can guess. In the end it's all guesses, and we ended 9-3

It's easy to say it could have been 18, but that's just wanting to slam the guy.

I'm not slamming anyone and I'm not an Xs and Os expert, but I've watched football my whole life....and I've never seen a QB throw the ball directly to the wrong team and it get dropped so many times.

Once wgdawg is done breaking down last seasons film on this stat, you'll see what I saw and you didn't see. For whatever reason.

You say "we" too much.

Feel free to disagree with me, but please don't try to include me in your creepy "we" worldview. Thanks.

You might very well be right. I doubt it was 18, though. Every QB throws the ball to the other team SOME and they get dropped. Did Lambert do it more than most? Maybe.

Lambert kid who freaks out in the pocket.

Given our line play last year I'd have been freaking out every play too.

I agree that Lambert will probably start just because of his experience level and probably being more effective at running the offense. Eason will see the field a lot though until he eventually takes over.

I felt the same way until I saw this thread. But let's look at this realistically,I want the best man that gives us the best chance to win. With the talent we all know Eason posses,he will shine like a Diamond in a Goats arse.So barring something unheard of happens,he will be our man

It was far better at pass pro than run blocking.

So it is your position that you don't exaggerate, huh?

You might be the only one on this board that hasn't noticed it. And, I have no problem disagreeing with you, or your disagreeing with me. It would be a boring world if we all agreed on every subject.

I think, like most have stated on here...Lambert gets the start...because he is a Graduate Transfer Senior and been in a few big games, it seems the right way to go in this type of atmosphere. I do think Eason gets a series or two and if he shows out...then he might stay in. It just depends really...I mean if Lambert comes out and drives us down the field and scores, IDC if he stays in.

I think JE will do great things at GA...but he is 100% Noob at this level and this type of atmosphere. I will say this though...this is a great game for him to get some reps...non conference game with a full stadium and national TV...Even if we lose, which would suck but is def possible with Chubb and Sony possibly out, it doesn't hurt our SEC chance.

Honestly I think we should focus more on who is gonna run the damn football lol. IF Chubb is back then it will be much Easier for Eason to transition.
