Isis's persecution of Iraqi Christians, which has already forced tens of thousands of men, women and children to flee for their lives, is fast becoming a genocide, religious leaders have warned.
Archbishop Athanasius Toma Dawod of the Syriac Orthodox church said that Isis's capture of Qaraqosh, Iraq's largest Christian city, had marked a turning point for Christians in the country.
"Now we consider it genocide – ethnic cleansing," he said. "They are killing our people in the name of Allah and telling people that anyone who kills a Christian will go straight to heaven: that is their message. They have burned churches; they have burned very old books. They have damaged our crosses and statues of the Virgin Mary. They are occupying our churches and converting them into mosques."

It's tragic people like you think people like us (Americans) can change the hearts and minds of people thousands of miles away who have been killing each other for thousands of years.
At some point military intervention must end so the only option would be to bring them over here for protection. Then they become a financial burden on our already debt ridden society.
Sure lets borrow more money from China because the middle easterners just can't seem to get along.
Fricking brilliant plan PB, outdone only by that kids brilliant plan to get out of that car and walk down that track within inches of oncoming cars.

If you ask me.....all of this disgruntled in-fighting goes back to one issue......
Too many stickies at the top of the board.
It clutters the board and limits the left-over real-estate below them.........and now turf wars are breaking out.

Ok, cool, as long as we know that some a-hole in a jump suit getting run over by a race car because he ran on a race track when race cars were racing is a tragedy, but 40,000 Christians in Iraq getting slaughtered is not a big deal because they are brown people that we have to borrow money from yellow people to protect and frankly, middle easterners had it coming...

What makes a sport a sport? Physical ability? Mental ability? Strategy?
I'm not a fan of NASCAR but I'd say it has all of the above. Those guys drive competitively for hours in the heat and they have to use strategy to win the race or place at a certain spot to get whatever points they need in the polls? Not to mention they have a team(crew) and guys calling the plays(coach) that make a difference in the outcome. I'd argue it is a sport.

I want to do an experiment..........
Peter Buck, Measure your blood-pressure and make a note of the reading. Then, we'll have DGD remove at least two of the stupid stickied clutter threads and then we'll measure your blood-pressure again.
I predict drastic differences between the two readings.
DGD, We now have a Health Crisis on our hands here. This sticky clutter is a ticking time bomb.
