A.J. McCarron to Amari Cooper to take the lead. 2012 SEC Championship game.

If you had a time machine and could change the outcome of a single play what would it be and how would you do it?
In 2007, I'd huff and I'd puff and I'd blow Vandy's Bryant Hahnfeldt's game winning (missed) FG attempt inside the left upright sending Tennessee home and us to the SECCG to pound LSU and kick the shite outta Ohio State.
If that didn't work, there's any number of plays you could have changed the following week when Tennessee and Kentucky went to 4 OTs. Sack Ainge in the 1st OT before he hits Gerald Jones to tie the score again and go to OT #2; or in the 2nd OT, don't allow UT to block Kentucky's 35-yard field goal after an Ainge interception. Game over in either case, again sending us to face LSU.

I wasn't going to be born for another few months, so I definitely didn't know how close we were to one that year.
We went into the game (11-0) #1, and Penn State (10-1) #2. Winner take all.

Could also have opted to stop Ohio State in 2002 from converting a 4th-and-1 with a 50+ yard TD pass. If that 4th down conversion is stopped, OSU loses 6-3 to Purdue and UGA moves on to the Fiesta Bowl for the MNC.

Agree, but honestly if that was the best play they could come up with in that situation, then I would not be confident that a redo would make a difference.

There was absolutely nothing wrong with the playcall, their DL just got a hand up.

Tripp Chandler dropping the pass near the endzone of the SC-UGA game in 2007.

Not a play, per se, but if I could change the outcome of signing CTG, I would.

How bout mike moore dropping one near the endzone in the same game?

Mike Moore and Tripp Chandler were pretty equally useless.

Since the end of the SECCG of 2012 seems the most sure answer. I'll go off the track a little.
UT v. KY 2007 -- Terrible Quality, I know

We've been here before. Let me just say that I respectfully disagree. The play had little chance of success even if the pass had not been tipped because the intended receiver was well covered. And the pass was tipped because Murray was starring down that side of the field because that was the only option on the play. On a play like that when everything is on the line, you want your QB rolling out with multiple options/chances for success.
