If Richt "Steps Down" Or Gets Fired We Need A Damn Fine Plan

Look at Texas for fricks sake, they used to be a national powerhouse and now look at them. Celebrating a win over OU like they just won a natty. I think one of the biggest things that concern me about canning Richt is turning into a dumpster fire. We need to get a damn fine replacement, someone who can take us to the next level. We have the talent, the money, and equipment to grab a big name coach. Let's just not frick this up if we do decide to get rid of Richt.

When was the last time we beat a top 10 team...?? We would probably celebrate like that now so whats the difference?

2013 seems so far off
But, we're still not Texas bad

What the frick do you think we are right now?
Just an oil barrel fire?

I agree... But I don't want to hear this bullshite "he'll never come here" or "why would he leave there". Remember, many people were shocked that Pruitt left FSU after a NC. UGA can get whoever they want... If only our AD wasn't such an incompetent pussy.

Nobody here present or not will have 1 cents worth of doing in what actually does happen. On a message board everything is wish list in progress.

So, if we beat Tech, Florida, or Auburn, our guys should just exchange meaningful glances?
The Red River Shootout is one of their two biggest games, and it's been a massacre for them lately.

Strong was literally surfing over his players

We are the most under achieving school in the FBS by far with Texas a distant 2nd.

We obviously don't have the talent some people think we have. Our secondary looked confused two weeks in a row against two average QBs. Our D-line was very good against the run again but being on the field for about 90 plays wore them down. O-Line looked barely average, and only one reliable WR means our passing game is easily defended.
QB situation is absolutely awful. Year after year we think there will be a great QB stepping up and we are disappointed. There is nothing to be hopeful about with this team or these coaches. I'll continue to cheer the team but it will be from home in comfort. This is my last game to attend for a while.

First, we are not that far off from dumpster fire level now.
But, even if we are not a dumpster fire, it makes zero, zilch, NO sense to do the same thing over and over and just hope that it eventually works out. If the last SECCG taught us anything, it's that even if the stars align, it's still not going to happen for us. When Ogletree ran that blocked kick back...and we all thought to ourselves "holy shite this is happening"....that was the moment. That was the pinnacle. And here we are now. Hoping for something better and not doing jack shite about it. Same as it ever was.

OL hasn't been too bad pad blocking but I don't think they have opened a hole all year including ULM and Southern.

How about Utahs or Cals coaches??

Hate this argument. Tennessee and Texas hired the wrong people. IF Richt moves on we will need to make the right hire. People act like we're automatically gonna do worse.
What about Florida? Supposedly it was a building year for McElwain and he is looking like SEC Coty right now,

There are far more examples of this. People keep using Tennessee as an example because that is the only one they have. Charlie Strong walked into a dumpster fire there, he will have them back soon.

I'm not doubting you but what are some other examples?
