Kirby, the genius that he is, put him in and the momentum immediately swings almost nearly causing us to lose to an FCS team.

He has no upside, provides zero benefit and is easier to rattle than a jello mold on a freight train.

There is no justifiable reason for him to play, unless Eason is playing absolutely horribly.

No, but at least he moves the ball down the field and can be a threat.

Lambert doesn't have the capability to threaten fricking Nicholls State. Let's end this charade that he contributes something.

Yeah, well Lambert didn't throw a pick today so I don't know what to tell you.

Eason didn't look lights-out but he looked better than Lambert. Eason seemed to manage the huddle a lot better than last week and he had hardly any help from his receivers. If we had some guys who could consistently catch the ball, he may have put up video game numbers.

Eason looked pretty good IMO...

Remove the bad drops and the batted up pick, and those would be touchdown drives.

Eason was great.

Chigbu dropped 2 big time passes.

Chubb dropped one.

Payne dropped one.

There were others.

Eason was mostly on the money.

What are you talking about? Eason threw the int. Lambert had nothing to do with us almost losing that game.

It was Eason who threw the pick (which wasn't his fault). But putting Lambert in immediately after made no sense to me.

We were still up by two scores at that point and then went 3 and out with Eason on the sideline.

How is it even possible to hallucinate something like this that never happened?

Didn't Eason start and play most of the game today and our offense sucked? How the frick can you complain about Lambert about today?

My bad. I saw the reaction on the board and when I next checked, NSU was in FG range so I assumed it was a pick. I deserve to be called a moron.

Point still stands. Lambert sucks.

I wouldn't complain about Lambert but Eason wasn't the issue in our terrible offense. Our OL wanted to pretend they were dainty homos in a SanFran bathhouse and our receivers thought the ball had cooties.

Except that he was a huge part of the problem. Wide open receivers can't catch a ball if qb never even notices them.

One thing about Eason is he still has tunnel vision bad, on the Payne drop he had Jeb wide open in the EZ and didn't even look that way faked the ball and instantly started throwing the flat, all in all though he didn't play bad but not good. Worst unit was OL point blank period

That was Eason's major flaw today. There were a lot of drops but he overlooked nearly as many open receivers.

I wasn't mad about the interception, but his awareness on progressions has got to improve.

With that said, the OL was far far worse than Eason today.

If you don't know why this happened, you haven't been paying attention to this program. The coaches but in lambert to manage the game, not to pass. Now, did that work? Not really, but don't delude yourself for why stuff is happening in front of you.

People still don't understand that a freshman qb, even a talented one, leads to a lot of mistakes that may not be as obvious. When Eason steps under center at Missouri and Ole Miss it will become a lot more clear.
