South Ga representing well. TCC is still the Catholic boys daddy.

Coffee, now that their big brother Ware took a year off from owning them, has a chance for a chip. Guess I will root for them. Have some family up there.

Did you forget that Worth and TCC played each other in both those 1986-87 semifinal games?

No sir, I remember well. Those games were epic battles.

I don't remember the year but, the year that TCC & Thomasville played each other in the state championship... we went to that game. Thomasville was packed that night.

Man I miss those days when WC and South Georgia HS football was the toughest place to play. It's all moved north now. Only 2 South GA teams left in the playoffs after last night.

That was 1993. Charlie Ward won the Heisman earlier in the day. Crazy stat: Marist coach Alan Chadwick has lost only 80 games. 10% of his losses…8 games…have come at the hands of Thomas Co. Central.

Swainsboro I'll give you, but Perry is pretty much right in the heart of the state.

Swainsboro’s still Coastal Plains - cotton peanuts and ‘backer country - so I’ll lump it in with the south GA schools.
