I live in VR and I've never ate there. Figured it was just going to be average 'Que like it was when the place was called "Gilley's". Will have to check it out.
Pretty much eat Hudson's and Williamson Bros. Although I like Hudson's my wife refuses to eat there because she fears she'll get AIDS or something since it is disgustingly dirty.
Grew up on Sprayberry's in Newnan and a place in Fairburn Georgia that has been gone 20 years now, Melear's. Melear's was the best IMHO.
Worst BBQ is that shite in Ellijay, Col. Poole's. Wouldn't feed my dog that.

Not enough Central GA love... Old Clinton, Georgia Bob's. At least Finchers and Fresh-Air is on there

Agreed, I stopped at Poole's the other day for the first time and the Q and stew were AWFUL. I've had better school cafeteria BBQ.

Being form South Georgia, I had to look around for a while when I moved to Gwinnett County for a decent place. The best I have found so far up here, and it is very good, is Southern Smoq BBQ off of Spout Springs Road.

Southern Soul is just ok, imo. Not much else to choose from though.

Was surprised by how good Cue is in Alpharetta. Their ribs are solid.

Went to Evan's BBQ in Villa Rica after work today it was pretty damn good! Tried the ribs and the pork and was impressed.

Have any of yall ever gotten the big bite from dawg gone good in athens? It's not on the menu, but he takes a smoked sausage in a hotdog bun and will top it with pulled pork plus Mac and cheese and creamed spinach or whatever else you want all for like $6

Fox Brothers in Atlanta.
I know. I know. It surprised me, too. Some fo the ebst I've eaten, though. From what I understand two brothers moved here from texas and started the place. Their Brisket is great!

A guy from work talked me into going there one day....I LOVED it. Was a bit surprised at how much. I've been three times in the past few months and I get the brisket every time. I've heard that just about everything is good, though.
